HEY EVERYONE!
So for those of you who read my profile, you'll have noticed that I planned on starting either an Inuyasha or Naruto collection of prompted drabbles! So here it is!
This is going to be based on prompts you guys request, or prompts I find that interest me. However, I don't have much time to go searching myself to please leave in the review what you would like me write! You can leave anything from characters, genres, rating (I don't write smut, sorry) and of course, the prompt :)

Inuyasha did not remember when it started, but somehow, it felt so natural to let his arm curl around Kagome's waist when it was just the two of them and she was within reach (sometimes to get her out of danger's way too). In fact, he'd repeated this action so many times, he'd memorized exactly how he should curl his arm, and her waist seemed to fit so perfectly there too.
When Inuyasha had attempted to promise Kagome that he would never leave her again, she had shushed him up with nothing but the truth – that Inuyasha would never be able to ignore Kikyou, dead or undead. Afterwards, when Kagome had scooted closer to him and leaned against his shoulder to get a little more rest, Inuyasha hadn't been able to resist the urge to wrap his arm around her waist – so he didn't.
It was an instinct. Involuntary.
Kagome never commented on it, and Inuyasha suspected that she felt the same way he did, because every time he executed said action, he felt her relax against him, and that would always bring a surge of pride through him. He was more than happy to know that Kagome trusted him with her life and was comfortable around him.
And now, after Miroku and the others have finally decided to return home and leave Kagome alone with Inuyasha to do some reconnecting (she did just arrive earlier today, and 3 years apart is far too much for Inuyasha), Inuyasha takes Kagome's hand and leads her into the forest.
They stop in front of the Goshiboku, and Inuyasha curls his arm her waist, only giving her a moment to get ready, before he leaps up and lands them both on a sturdy branch. He sets them both down, with her sitting between his legs, back to his chest, and as he wraps both his arms around her waist and buries his nose to breath in something purely Kagome, Inuyasha thinks that one day, perhaps, instead of Kagome's petite waist that he has such a tight hold on right now because sheisfinallyfinallyfinallyback, one day, he'll loosely circle his arms around her waist and gently run his hands over the forming bulge that will bring eternal happiness to both himself and Kagome.
For now though, Inuyasha thinks to himself, for now, I wouldn't mind just getting to hold her like this every night.
