It was a normal day for the guild, they laughed they joked and most importantly they were a family. Lucy walked into the guild that morning, wearing a long sleeved top, jeans and pair of red shoes. She had a scarf wrapped around her neck. It was pink with little blue flowers.

She walked to Mira for her breakfast, "J-Just water Mira," the white haired female nodded her head and gave her a bottle of water. Lucy paid the the girl and took a seat next to Natsu, Gray, Levy, Gajeel and Wendy. She sat next to Gray who slung an arm around her shoulder but then frowned for a second before he let it settle on her neck.

He felt Lucy flinch under him and he looked at her carefully. She seemed scared for some reason. She was shaking almost. 'He can feel it. He can feel the fat. He's repulsed but he is just too scared to move his arm as it will hurt my feelings,' Lucy thought to herself. Happy climbed onto her lap and she flinched again. She picked him up by the bag and put him on the table in front of her.

Grey chewed on the inside of his mouth. She defiantly wasn't okay. She was scared to be touched for some reason, "Lucy...are you okay?" Gray whispered into her ear. The girl nodded her head but stood up anyway.

"I'm going to the little ladies room," she excused herself before running away. She disappeared into a toilet stall and sobbed into her hands. Her fat, gigantic hands. She wasn't skinny. She was huge. She slowed everyone down due to her weight. Happy could barely carrier her, neither could Capricorn. She was huge. She pulled her top over her fat thighs and continued to cry. She didn't want to seem weak. She wanted to be apart of Natsu's team but why would they keep her if she was going to be a burden. They would want to pick someone skinnier than her.

Someone that didn't have a fat face, large hands, thighs and waist. They'd pick someone more suited for the role. She may as well team with with Nab and Droy. She belonged with them and was probably even bigger than them.

In the past week, she barely ate. Last week she had eaten half a slice of toast and that was it. Everytime she brought something to her lips, images of her fat body appeared in her mind and she would be disgusted by what she ate and reminded herself of the goal. She had to be skinny.

Outside, Gray stood up and walked over to Mira for a moment, "Mira...can we talk somewhere private," the female nodded and invited him behind the bar and into the kitchen. He turned to look at Levy who was giving him a questioning look.

"What was the last food Lucy bought?" He asked slowly. Mira thought for a moment, shrugging her shoulders. It had been a long time since she had bought some food from the bar.

"Do you think she is alright?" Gray shrugged. She wasn't right that was for sure but she seemed okay a times.

"Make her an omelet, here," Gray gave her some money for the meal and walked out while Mira started to prepare the meal. Juvia was at the bar by this point and frowned when she saw her beloved talking to Mira.

"Gray-sama what where you doing back there?" She asked slowly. Gray put a finger to his lip with a cheeky smile and returned to his seat. Juvia gave Mira her order before joining him in the booth. The table was now full.

Lucy walked back out and found that she had been replaced, of course, why would she be allowed to sit with them. She took up most of the space anyway. Lucy instead sat next to Cana who was napping but when she sat down she had woken the alcoholic up.

"Hey, you," she smiled to the blonde who gave her a smile back. Mira walked over to the table and handed her the omelet, Gray had paid for.

"From a secret friend," she giggled then walked away. Lucy smiled then looked round, no one was watching.

"Cana, I think someone bought you food," The brunette sat up and happily dug into the omelet.

"Free food. Great," she laughed as she scoffed her face. Lucy smiled back at her friend who was enjoying the meal and would moan out every so often as flavour burst in her mouth. Once she was done she handed it to Mira and thanked her.

Mira looked surprised when Cana had given it back to her. She put the dirty plate in the back, she found a pen and piece of scrap paper and wrote a quick note to Gray. She had rejected the food. Mira had made it clear it was for Lucy but she had given it to Cana. Maybe she wasn't hungry...but then again where was she eating?

"How was everyone's meal?" Mira slipped Gray the note while cleaning up the table. Gray read it slowly 'She gave it to Cana. She rejected the food. Come to the back again. Now' Gray stood up and followed Mira to the back.

"I've not been paying as I have no money so I have been doing the dishes," he explained to the group before following the white haired back. Mira set the plates into the sink and turned the hot water on. She was now really worried for her friend. They came up with a plan to find out the truth. It really worried them now.

Night time came and Lucy sat next to Cana but this time Gray joined her. All of the others came over and somehow Lucy vanished and sat on her own next to the fire. His plan failed. He didn't want to tell them. He wanted to be the one to figure it out. He watched as Lucy walked by but it was weird. She was almost flat chested compared to other times.

She had lost weight. Come to think of it. He barely saw her skin anymore and she looked genuinely pale. Her cheeks bones were even starting to protrude. "MIRA!" Gray suddenly screamed in realisation. He thought back to all the times that Happy called her fat. He found the cat and kicked it across the room.

"I'm going to kill you!" He screamed out. Happy was sent flying to the wall and had passed out. Natsu was the first one out and was trying to punch Gray. Mira rushed over to Gray and Natsu and pushed them apart.

"Anorexia," he breathed out. "She's starving herself. They keep..." He some how ended up crying and he was shocked to say the least. Lucy walked past them and saw Gray crying. She saw Happy on the ground, passed out. Gray and Mira were sobbing gently.

"Dear...let me see something," Gray grabbed Lucy's arms...she was a skeleton. There was nothing on her arms. Mira lifted her top up, she raised it until they could see her rib cage. They could see everyone bone, there was a large curve from her ribs stopped and to her belly button. Gray looked at the back, he could see everyone bone in her spine.

Mira pulled down her jeans to see her hip, it was visable. Lucy was crying hard, screaming at them to stop. She was trying to kick but she was too tired to do such things. She was quickly panting and they let her go. Gray held her tightly as she cried into his shoulder.

"I'm so fat, why did you do that?"

"Lucy...I swear on my life that you aren't. You are too skinny. Please...eat," he begged her. He was whispering into her ear so no one else will hear them.

"I can't, I'm not skinny enough. I need to lose more weight. I can't...I'm too fat. I'll just be a burden to you guys. I am always tired and breathless, I'm too fat. You were repulsed by me earlier. You could feel the skin," she sobbed harder and harder holding onto him tightly. Juvia was about to separate them but she noticed something. Gray was flat against Lucy. They're was no gasps, and while that was infuriating, they're should be a little gap with her size of bust, but it wasn't there.

She then caught on and held her hands to her mouth. She had lost so much weight, especially her chest was flat. Mira turned to Happy. It was mainly his fault. He laughed at Lucy who was perfect weight with a lovely chest. Levy took a shaky breath. She didn't even notice her best friend was having a lot of problems.

"What happens when you get skinny?" Gray asked her quietly. He didn't want others to hear their conversations.

"I'll be able to remain on your team," Lucy whispered to him, "I won't burden you. I won't shame the team with my fat. I'll be able to remain by your side with pride," she sobbed out quietly. She never wanted to talk to him about this but the truth just came bursting out.

"You will never be replaced. You are such a great wizard. You are our logic at times, you have saved our lives so many times. Lucy, no matter your weight, you will always be a great asset to the team. Though, you need to weigh more, as you are sick and won't last," Gray said honestly and held her like a china doll. If he held her to tightly she may just break.

"I can't. I need to be skinny," Gray couldn't help but hate Happy. He had no right to make Lucy feel uncomfortable. Even if she was as big as a whale, there was never ever a need to voice that opinion, to make her feel so bad about herself that she would refuse to eat.

No one should ever make a person feel that way, especially a cat.

...

I recently read a story about eating disorders. I then watched the episode where Capricorn mentions Lucy's weight. I don't understand how Lucy is feeling personally so if I wrote something that's not quiet right then I apologise and if you could tell me, for future reference.

Thanks for reading.
