~AN~ (Author's Note)

Alright, so this one-shot is a Prequel to "Transformers AU: Earth". This tells how Bumblebee got to Earth, what he did his first two weeks, and how he got to Qatar. Sorry if it may seem a bit confusing, I am writing from an alien's point of view after all. Enjoy!

Transformers AU: Earth- Bumblebee's Arrival

Autobot Scout Bumblebee floated around the atmosphere of an organic planet called "Earth". Just a few orns ago, the Autobot's Special Operations Unit had received intel that there were several Decepticons, including the current leader Starscream, gathering on this planet. They appeared to be searching for something, and with the Cons, that was never a good thing. There was also the alarming fact that this planet had a sentient species on it, known as "Humans". The command team had decided that the situation warranted sending someone to check it out. As Bee was the only scout currently available, he now found himself packed into a large astroid-looking ball, as it was the only way for him to land on the planet without attracting attention from the locals. The Autobots were trying their best not to involve other species, especially ones as relatively small and helpless as the humans appeared to be. This form of entry also kept the Cons from knowing he was here. The young Bot began his decent, having reached the position necessary to land at the desired location, a place called Qatar. He had planned it out so that he would land a mile outside of a city called Doha at night. While circling the planet earlier, waiting for the right time and place, Bumblebee had stumbled upon an information network the humans called the World Wide Web, or internet. Using this, he had learned almost everything about this strange organic species. He had also found a new alt mode to use while on this planet, a Camaro. It even had the colors he usually used: bright yellow and black. He really liked the look of it, and couldn't wait to use it once on the ground.

15 minutes later, Bee was climbing cautiously out of the crater he had just created. The scanners on his doorwings showed that there weren't any organics nearby, but that several vehicles he identified as emergency responders were headed his way. Knowing he needed to stay un-detected, he transformed into the Camaro alt mode. After taking a moment to get used to his new form, he quickly got onto the road and headed for Doha, passing the fire engines and ambulances on the way. He was thankful that his landing had gone well enough for the ambulance to be unnecessary. The last thing the scout wanted was to be responsible for injuring, or Primus forbid, killing a human, or any innocent sentient for that matter.

A few more minutes of driving found Bumblebee in the city. Why he was here, he wasn't certain, other than the fact that this is where the most Decepticon activity had been detected. He spent the rest of that night, some seven hours or so, just driving around and adjusting. Bee was very thankful for the internet, otherwise he might have ended up causing accidents. He came very close to doing so when a human driving next to him looked through his window and saw the car driving itself. After that, he used the Web to help him design a Holoform. It couldn't touch anything, and could only appear in the car, but it kept him from being noticed. His Holoform looked about 20 years old, had dark skin (~AN~ a little lighter than Epps), bright blue eyes (by default, Holoform's eyes were the same color as the user's optics), short black hair, and was wearing sunglasses (to cover the glowing eyes), nice jeans, sneakers, and a yellow T-shirt. He also had "dogtags" with his designation on one and the Autobot insignia on the other, just like the one on his steering wheel. Bumblebee could even use it to speak using his voice. Once it had been used, Holoforms couldn't be changed until he got a new alt mode, but he could change the clothes if he wanted.

Over the next week, the yellow scout drove around Doha, looking for any reason the Cons were interested in this place. After seven days, as had been pre-arranged, Bee commed Command with an update. Finding an abandoned warehouse with no humans for miles, he transformed to bipedal mode and lit up the beacon. He was answered by Jazz, who was on duty at the time.

[Yo Bee, whaz happenin?]

[Not much Jazz, I haven't found anything. I picked up a Con signal on my way here, but it was gone after a second.]

[Be careful kid, ya neva know wa might happen. How're ya doin, by tha way?]

[Pretty good, it's not like I can get bored. The city I'm in is pretty cool, and apparently it's not even one of the bigger ones.]

[Well, enjoy it while ya can, Bee. Ah gotta go, stay sharp. Jazz out.]

And with that Bumblebee was on his way back to the crowded city. Just as he was leaving though, he picked up the same Con signal from earlier, only this time it didn't disappear. Rather, it was getting rapidly closer. The Camaro transformed to bipedal mode just before a black and white police interceptor came flying over the top of a nearby sand dune and transformed as well, landing on his pedes at the bottom of the dune. The Decepticon looked at the Autobot with a snarl on his face. He spat out,

"Well, if it isn't Bumblebee, the Autoscum's best scout."

Said scout transformed his servos into cannons, while growling out,

"Barricade. What are you doing here?"

The red-opticed Con grinned ferally and sneered,

"Wouldn't you like to know. I will enjoy ripping you apart with my bare servos!"

Bee retorted,

"That's the same thing you said last time we met, and you ended up as a pile of scrap."

Barricade growled angrily and snapped,

"You're all alone this time, and I have Brawl and Blackout to back me up. They'll be here in 30 minutes, which gives me plenty of time to send you to the Well of Sparks."

And with that he attacked. Bumblebee just barely had time to fire both cannons into the mech's chassis before the Con slammed into him. As they fell to the ground, Bee turned his cannons back to servos and tried to shove the black-and-white mech off, but Cade had latched his fingers around the smaller Bot's neck. With a deranged grin, the Decepticon dug his claws in, drawing a pained cry from the scout. Bee's efforts to free himself doubled, and he finally managed to throw the Con backwards into the warehouse. But not before he felt an agonizing pain in his throat. As he stood up he saw that the red-opticed mech had a servo-full of wires and armor from the yellow Bot's throat. His doorwings picked up two more Decepticon signals headed towards them from the west, and Bee realized that he had to leave, now. Normally he would be able to handle himself fine, especially now that Barricade was down for the count, but with his neck leaking a large amount of Energon, he knew he wouldn't last long. Quickly transforming, Bumblebee drove towards the city as fast as he could. Thankfully, no Energon could be seen on the outside if his alt mode, though the Camaro could still feel the wound leaking. After driving around for about an hour, making sure no one was tailing him, the now-exhausted scout found an empty storage building to transform in. He reached up and felt the wound, his engine whining in pain as he did so. Thankfully, the bleeding had stopped, but after running a quick self-diagnoses, Bee realized that the wound inflicted had damaged his voice. He could take care of small wounds himself easily enough, but something like this would require a medic; one he didn't have access to. 'Well, I guess it's a good thing I won't need to talk to anyone for a while.' He thought to himself as he transformed back to alt mode. Finding a large parking structure a few blocks away, the Autobot parked in a dark corner and settled into recharge, needing the rest.

Over the next six days, Bumblebee was constantly on guard, straining his sensors for any signs of Decepticons in the area. At first there was nothing, but in the evening of the seventh day he managed to decode a comm he had overheard that afternoon. What it said had his Energon freezing in his lines:

[I have located a human base 20 miles south-west of Doha that has the information we need. I will arrive there by sundown, and I will show these pathetic insects how powerful we can be. Blackout out.]

As Bee raced strait across the desert towards the human base, he had only one thought,

'Please let me get there in time!'

Ta-da! Not a lot of action, I know, but Bee was sent there without knowing what he was looking for. It makes sense that it would be a bit slow-paced for the most part.

How did the fight scene go? Okay? Hope so. Comment and PM, I love new ideas!
