that's how he'd found her just minutes earlier curled up into feetle position on a bed in a crappy dark motel room he cautiously crouched down behind her trying not to startle her putting his hand gently on her shoulder she cringed under his soft touch and he could feel her tremble with fear but she didn't move "sara...it's me" he spoke softly she slowly turned her head almost in slowmotion to see if her ears weren't deceiving her her eyes questioned him and filled with tears he climbed onto the bed and wiped her hair out of her face "sara?" he asked realizing she hadn't spoken a word "hi" she spoke softly while tracing the features of his face as if to feel if he was really there. with her "are you okay"
"no...i'm not"
"sara i'm sorry"
she buried her head in his chest and let her tears flow freely he put his arm around her waste and pulled her close and just let her cry while brushing through her hair with his fingers when her tears had dried she lifted her head so she could look into his eyes "i'll be okay now"
