The fullmoon stared brightly in my eyes, sharp against the red sky. I stood still as a statue, basking in that light. Slowly, I looked at the water's surface. My reflection stared back and I could feel the blood sliding past my lips. You wouldn't see it with the water the same red as my bloodied mouth. Licking, I trembled from the taste. Mmmmm...my toungue ran over it again. Delicious...I love human blood, but I love humans more. This man didn't deserve to have his blood drained so much.
I smiled. The man, Roger, moaned into the ground, and in seconds, he wouldn't remember a thing or see the mark as I licked his bite. The dock beneath me paled, as everything around me turned to its original color. Now clear, the water showed a beautiful face. Slightly full cheeks, chestnut curls, and purple eyes. A weird combo. I laughed hard at this, cocking my head to the side. Dia. The water seemed to ripple and laugh with as me as I collapsed thinking of what I had just done.
Before, I had clumsily fell onto this man who had scraped his hand. It wasn't on purpose, and his blood did smell good, though not amazing. Then, I couldn't wait for another week! I'm perfectly fine accepting that I need blood. Except, that I try to not drink so much. It wasn't hard for Roger, like "flirting" him into my arms. All I had to do was bat my eyelashes and act incapable. Poor man, so easy. I tried to stop laughing at this.
Just then, a twig snapped behind me. I looked above my shoulder. I covered my mouth before I could squeal. Humans. Uh-oh. Before I could do anything, I started to run. One of the badass things about being a vampire: super speed. Even though I'm technically a full bred vamp, something was wrong when I was born. So I'm not like most vampires; for speed, you can sorta see me. And the cute boy that came out of the bushes looked at me just as I got away. His hair was plattinum blonde and eyes gray as the ocean. He was looking at the man. Phew.
As I kept running, I thought about the guy...He looked familliar... Nah. I dashed towards home.
