A/N: This is a little idea, I have no idea if I'll continue. Basically it's a story based around Glinda's character, she is in a boarding school as a young seven year old girl, roomed with a strange green girl. Tell me, should I continue?

Thunder Shocked

Thunder struck, leaving nothing but silence in its wake. Glinda was hiding under her bed from the frightening sound. Knock, knock. Someone was at her door, but she stayed in her hiding place. Another knock, but nothing swayed the girl; she was too frightened to move.

The door opened with a click and in came her governess, Miss Blakely. In came Glinda's governess holding onto a little girl that didn't look much older than Glinda. The girl was thin, with lovely raven hair and, what shocked Glinda most, green.

Green! Glinda's eyes widened, watching her from below her bed.

The governess reassured the unusual girl. "Everything will be fine; Glinda is simply frightened of the storm. She'll come out soon and you two will become good friends."

Then before Glinda could help it, she blurted. "No we will not! Can't you see her, she's green. I'd rather the storm never end than be friends by her!"

Miss Blakely frowned, "Glinda, apologise immediately."

Glinda said defiantly, "No and you can't make me!"

Glinda immediately dashed out from her bed, only to hide under her covers, refusing to meet her governess' eyes. She simply refused to make friends with a girl she barely met. She couldn't be made to, it was unfair. She didn't even want to be roomed with her; she wanted her own space away from everyone else. A place where she could hide away from prying eyes, where she could simply be Glinda in her own little world but now it had been taken from her. She had to share it with someone else, a green someone else for that matter!
