Prologue:
I walked down the length of the beach looking at the sunset. Whishing my love was there with me. If only he hadn't left me. We were so happy. I still don't understand what went wrong but apparently something did. It has been almost a year since he left and I miss him so much it hurts. I would do anything to hold him in my arms again. To kiss him. To hear him say those three precious little words. I miss him terribly but I will never have him back. Because he didn't just leave he left me for someone else. But I will stop at nothing till I finally do get him back. For am Annabeth case daughter of Athena. And if anyone can come up with the perfect plan it is me. So I will get him back no matter the cost. I look back over the sea. Ahh the sea HIS favourite place to be. And what do you kno0w there he is now. Walking down the beach with Rachel hanging off his arm. That should be me! I silently scream. He turns around and sees me. He smiles and waves. He is so oblivious I think. Sad to think that just that one smile can make my heart ache and butterflies take off in my stomach. He calls me over to him. "Hey annabeth, what are you doing here?" "Hello Percy, I'm just watching the sunset is all" and plotting my revenge. "But it's over now. So I might as well head inside. Good night both of you" I saw quietly. I then turn around and walk back to my cabin. I don't get far before he catches up to me and asks me if I'm ok. I'm fine I hear myself say. And then walk the rest of the way to my cabin.
