One day, Ryou Bakura was grocery shopping when he saw it

One day, Ryou Bakura was grocery shopping when he saw it. It was incredible. It was… a banana. But not just any banana, it was the most perfect banana Ryou had ever laid eyes on in his 16 years of living. It was the perfect size, not too big or too small. The peel was perfectly yellow, not a speck of brown or green to be seen. He inspected it further to find it wasn't too mushy either.

Ryou knew he must buy this wonderful banana. If he didn't, it might possibly sit overnight and get brown spots! In fact, not getting would be unforgivable. So Ryou put it in his cart, and without getting the rest of his groceries, headed straight for the check out line. He ran home faster then he had ever ran before, narrowly dodging many trees, cars, and homeless people on the way home.

Finally, Ryou got home safely with his banana (although many animals tried to steal it, and he almost fell on top of it several times). He pulled the banana out of the bag at light speed, and admired its beauty for a few minutes before saying farewell to the perfect peel, and peeled it. The inside was just as perfect as the outside was, and he almost wept over the thought of eating it and destroying its beauty. But he knew it had to be done, for not eating it and letting it go bad would be a terrible waste. This was a once in a lifetime chance! To eat such a perfect banana, everyone would be jealous!

He bit down on the perfect fruit. It tasted just as good as it looked! This truly was the perfect banana. Ryou had never tasted such a delicious food! Bite after marvelous bite, Ryou savored every bit. But alas, all good things must come to an end, and Ryou found himself bananaless very soon. He shed many tears over his loss. He cried for hours and hours, until his yami had enough and took over.

A month after this incident, Ryou was still heartbroken over this. His life was now worse then it was before, and that's pretty bad when you have an evil spirit taking control of your body every few hours. His friends stopped hanging around him, for all he ever talked about was the banana. His grades slipped, for all he thought about was the banana. His life seemed like a dark, dark hole, filled with a lot of ickyful sad things, like goo monsters and rotten bananas.

Ryou couldn't take it anymore. He decided there was nothing else he wanted in life, for it was completed when he ate that banana. There was no other option besides swimming in self pity for the rest of his life. So Ryou climbed onto his roof, and bid everyone good luck finding their own bananas as he splattered onto the concrete.
