Title: Greetings to You

Summary: Sinbad and Ja'far anxiously await the birth of their first child. Warnings: Yaoi & SinJa.

Hello! This is my first Magi fic so please leave a review on your thoughts.

"...You stupid King...I'll kill you!"

"You don't mean that-"

"Yes I do! This hurts! Don't come near me after this!" Ja'far screamed angrily, face twisting in pain as another contraction pulsed through his tired body. He had been at this pushing thing for hours and he was exhausted and was in no mood to deal with anything.

"It's okay your majesty, it's just the pain talking." One of the nurse maids said, sending the King a pitying glance. "You're almost there, just a little more Ja'far!" Yamraiha called out, "I can see the head!"

"Thank god!"

"Hear that Ja'far? You're almost done, just a little more!" The older man encouraged, squeezing the smaller man's hand comfortingly, bringing it up to his face and pressing a kiss to the back of his hand.

Several agonizing minutes later, the room was filled with the shrill cry of a baby.

"It's a girl." Yamraiha declared, carefully cleaning and swaddling the newborn in soft blankets before gently handing her over to her 'mother'. She smiled softly as she watched the new parents stare at their new child, once she was sure that both the baby and Ja'far would be okay she quietly slipped out the door.

"She looks just like you." Sinbad whispered softly, drinking in the sight of his beautiful newborn daughter. The little babe had a head of soft, snow white hair and a small, round face that had a light dusting of freckles. She looked so much like Ja'far.

"You did great Ja'far, thank you." He pressed a soft kiss to the younger man's lips, trying to pour his love and happiness and gratefulness into the one motion. Knowing that he could never fully express how much he loved Ja'far and their daughter.

"…Not everything. She has your eyes." The exhausted man on the bed retorted, taking in his daughter's bright amber eyes. The small, round face just as tanned as her father's, cooed up at the white-haired man from his arms.

"She's perfect." The King of Sindria conformed, unwilling to rile up Ja'far in his current state or break the current tender moment between their new family. "Did you decide a name for our little Princess?" He asked, smiling widely as the little baby grabbed onto his index finger, transfixed by the shiny ring adorning it.

"…I've always liked Jamila." He said softy, running his hand gently over the baby's feather soft hair. Leaning down, he placed a gentle kiss on her small forehead. Sinbad smiled softly at the loving gesture. It was a far cry from the Ja'far that was usually strict and would spend his day nagging Sinbad about his work.

"That's a beautiful name."

A definite difference from how Ja'far was as a small child. He glanced knowingly at the younger man, "You're going to be okay, you'll be a good mother." He stifled a laugh at the scowl Ja'far sent his way, "Don't teacher her that!" He scolded lightly, not finding the energy to properly scold his king.

"I'm sorry, I won't do it again." He apologized, pressing an apologetic kiss on his lover's forehead. Both knowing that the older man didn't mean a word of it. And at that moment Sinbad didn't know it was possible to love two people so much.

He briefly wondered if this was how his father felt when he looked at his mother and infant son.

Not long after the birth of their daughter the King and Consort of Sindria presented Princess Jamila to the rest of the kingdom and she was lovingly received amongst the people with loud cheers of greetings.

What do you guys think? I feel like the ending was rushed.
