AN: A little humorous bickering between Jack and Danny. (Disclaimer as per profile)

THEY CAN TOO

"Oh and this coming from the guy who thinks that rocks can fly!"

Sam and Teal'c just looked at each other. One of the others must have hit vox. The Jaffa and the blonde Airforce Major had gone on ahead to secure the 'gate and could now here Jack and Daniel's conversation that was taking place over a mile away.

"Rocs can too fly Jack."

"No they cannot!"

"They can too."

"Cannot."

"Can too."

"Can't"

"Can."

"Why?"

"What?"

"Why do you think that rocks can fly, because from what I can see they just sit there and do nothing. Occasionally one might try to fall on your head when you're not looking but they cannot and will not ever be able to fly."

Teal'c eyebrow arched and Sam had to cover her mouth to stop the impending laughter from being heard over the airwaves. She shook her head and reached out to still Teal'c hand where he was about to hit override and inform the guys they could be heard. He understood and gave her a brief cat like smile.

"Ja-ack. Obviously I'm not talking about those kinds of rocks, of course they can't fly...unless I throw one at you."

"You wouldn't dare."

"Try me."

"Oh you wish."

"What?"

"Never mind."

"...Anyway. The roc I'm talking about is spelled R-O-C not R-O-C-K and it is a mythical giant bird. So big in fact that it could effortlessly carry off an elephant if it wanted too.

"Oh."

"Yes Oh...So you see rocs can fly."

"Actually Danny they still can't."

"What! Of course they can."

"Cannot."

"Can too."

"Cannot."

"Ja-ack!"

"..."

"Stop grinning. It's a giant bird Jack, what part of gia-ant bi-ird makes you think it can't fly?"

"The mythical part...It doesn't exist so therefore it cannot fly."

"Oh."

"Yes Oh."

"Well that's kind of beside the point Jack."

"What? How can whither something exists or not be beside the point?"

Sam rolled her eyes. This kind of bickering between the two of them could go on for days, she had heard enough. Besides they were supposed to be covertly guarding the 'gate. Smiling at Teal'c she pulled the radio closer to her mouth. "Ah, Colonel O'Neill, Sir?"

"What's up Major?"

"You guys have your radios stuck on vox, it's kind of disrupting the covert part of our duties."

Pointed silence followed for a few moments. Then all Teal'c and Sam heard before the radio went dead with a final burst of static was.

"Dan-niel! You complete and utter fu..."
