He felt like the destiny was carved his path.

He looked the land, frozen by the moonlight, confused about their survival. His breathing lades with sorrow. He still felt the fear of death. So close this time. And his cries faded in the solitude. He sucked his tears. It wasn't time to cry.

"And we chose the path without road." He muttered. "Roaming through this wilderness alone."

"This era is time of destruction and new begins." Someone said beside of him. "We are shouldering the freedom of this land heavily. But we are never alone."

He smiled.

He felt his friend's comforting presence.

When everyone else was gone, Merlin was there, with him.

"Say Merlin. Those shining flowers over there. Are they dreams of the moon?" He pointed beyond the smouldering hill. "They sparkle and beckon us."

"Maybe. Maybe they really are. And maybe they lead the way to the soul beyond the stars where they can rest in peace." Merlin answered.

He sighed heavily.

"So, say in your wisdom, will we continue travelling on this endless path? Do we disappear in the wind, to the other side of this wilderness? We surely must have been born from the arms of darkness."

Merlin shook his head.

"Just remember Arthur, beyond this dark road is always a new dawn. The ship of time moves on, and even if we are like grains of sand in the time glass, we are led on by the light on this endlessly path. And there is no way to return. It is our destiny."

"So we cross into the sunset more dazzling than even midday." He though when he watched how the sun rose.

"We cross this battlefield, and we walk beyond those hills to look new day of our life."
