"Get back here!" I heard them yell. Left or right? Forks in roads are such pointless things. All the while, this was no time for a mental debate. Right, is always right…right? Grabbing the sack of apples I had under my arm, and straight down the right path. Great, dead end.

"Aha not so smart aren't you girl?" He looked at me, with his big muscular frame. With my frail and small figure, I couldn't stand a chance. Oh well. I was hoping not to do this but.., I guess I got no choice. So I stood back a couple of steps and clapped my hands.

What was that? Alchemy?

"See ya sucker" I yelled cheekily as I jumped over the trapped figure of the shopkeeper.

"What the heck? Where'd this come from?" I heard the shopkeeper yell.

Chuckling to myself I ran off into the left path this time. But yet again, a man stood in my way, thinner this time, wearing a hood. And young too, maybe about twenty-five. Oh well. This guy can go visit space.

As I began to clap my hands, I felt something soft grab on to my left one. I looked up-the man wasn't there he was at my side!

"Gotcha" I said to the girl. She was quite small, frail and looked like she hadn't eaten for days. I grabbed the sack of apples from under her and threw them to the side.

"Don't let him catch me, he'll kill me!"

"I'm not interested in apparent theft" I muttered to her

"Then what do you want?"

"You were moving to clap your hands just then…why?"

"Who are you…?"

He flicked back his hood. He had golden eyes and golden hair tied back in a ponytail.
