Arashi: This is a request fic for Darkangel048. Characters may appear ooc and fic is completely Au. Danny Phantom rightfully belongs to Butch Hartman who created an interesting series. I just write for fun and don't make any money of the fic I write.
Summary-Danny feeling more confuse and heart by those he cares about never seems to be around makes him really wonder if things are really okay. It seems the one person he never thought that would count says one name he'll respond and latch to., Little Badger. Its proof he's still loved in this world.
Little Badger
Gathering his legs closer to his body, Danny Fenton sighs softly seeing no one isn't going to appear anytime as usual. It seems many do different things on their own time. Tears form in his baby blue eyes as he gasp. He clench his eyes close fighting the urge to cry.
He didn't hear the door open at all or the sudden use of a nickname he hasn't heard in a while. "Little badger? Where are you?"
Danny gazes up finding himself staring into Vlad's caring eyes making choking sob. He's tired of feeling worthless and safe to be around. He rushes in the older man arms letting all his pain escape. He let Vlad call him Little badger making it proof he is loved. He didn't expect the man to tilt up his head kissing him softly.
"You are my Little Badger, Danny. I'll love you and stand by you," Vlad vows knowing its helping the boy he loves.
Danny nods letting him be hold similar to a child smiling up at Vlad who hushes him while carrying him out of the house. What surprise him seeing his so called family finally together as he leaves apparently for good. He smiles shyly at the possessive tone.
"Danny is staying with me and I'll deal with him. Until he's ready to have you idiots near him you won't be able to." Vlad grounds out kissing Danny's forehead getting into the limo taking off back to his mansion.
Danny never look back on that day once he left his childhood home. He wouldn't dare to come back home if it weren't for Jazz who truly care about him ask him to be there on her wedding day. He briefly showed up at his parents' funerals with his little boy and girl each he loves dearly after learning he could become pregnant due to being half-ghost. He smiles placing a hand on the small bulge showing as his parents are finally put to rest. Now he can finally find the peace he desires that's with his husband and family.
