A story between Hiccup and Astrid.
It was winter in Berk and currently raining. Hiccup sighed from the window as he saw Astrid sitting down a rock with her battle axe near their house. He was hiding from Astrid. Not because of the rain; because Astrid was furious at him for something he accidentally did. It happened earlier that day.
Start of Flashback
Ruffnut, Tuffnut and Hiccup were in the docks, looking at the boats which were about to leave. Ruffnut sighed as a sign of boredom. "There's nothing to do, well except fight with Tuff, but for the first time, it's boring." Ruffnut said as the twins and Hiccup were bored of doing nothing. They were about to leave when Hiccup tripped over a rock. He fell on top of Ruffnut.
"Hahahahaha. Hiccup and Ruff sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G." Tuffnut sang and laughed. Suddenly, Astrid came. She thought Hiccup was kissing Ruffnut. Hiccup stood up and tried to chase Astrid but she was too fast.
End of Flashback
Hiccup tried to look up again but she was still there. She gave him a glare and Hiccup quickly hides. Toothless who was sleeping, woke up. He gave Hiccup a look and went near him. Toothless moaned meaning 'Stop hiding like a wimp'. "She's going to kill me, plus my prosthetic leg will feel painful." Hiccup said to the dragon. Toothless rolled its eyes and went back to sleep. Hiccup tried to look one more time. He saw Astrid throw her axe away. Astrid never throws her axe. That's it; Hiccup stood up and went outside.
The water made his artificial leg hurt like never before. He stepped closer to Astrid. He noticed Astrid was crying. He gently sat beside her. When she noticed Hiccup, she wiped her tears and looked at him. "Astrid, is everything alright?" Hiccup curiously asked. She pinned him to the ground. "Hiccup! You betrayed me and your asking me is everything alright!? You call this alright!" Astrid shouted in frustration. Astrid stood up and ran to the woods. Hiccup had nothing else to do but to follow her. He finally was able to grab Astrid's arm after minutes of running. "Astrid, just listen to me." Hiccup confronted Astrid. "Okay, I'll listen. What do you have to explain yourself?" Astrid stopped and looked at Hiccup in anger.
"It was an accident. I tripped on a rock and fell on top of Ruff. We didn't even kiss." Hiccup explained. Astrid raised an eyebrow. "Do you expect me to believe that?" Astrid said in disbelief. "Why would I lie to a pretty Viking like you?" Hiccup said, a little bit corny. "I would not be wooed by your smooth talk Hiccup." Astrid pinned Hiccup to the floor. "I swear it." Hiccup gestured. Astrid saw Hiccup's eyes. He really is serious, Astrid thought. She pulled him up. Astrid punched him in the shoulder. "That's for making me jealous." She pulled him back and kissed him gently. Hiccup went to his goofy grin stage. Astrid chuckled. Suddenly the rain got stronger. They went to find a shelter but instead, fell on thin ice. They fell 10 feet from the ground.
They saw a door and opened it. Inside there were lots of doors and in the middle was a note. It read: Open the door with 2 hearts, where no man will find, for a person who dares have a great mind. They tried to open the door with a heart-shape craved in it. But it was locked. "Aha! Hiccup, it read 2 hearts which means….." Astrid pulled Hiccup for a passionate kiss. A door opened by itself. It was the exit. They went out and saw a paradise no man has ever seen. There was a waterfall and lots of trees. They were in the long lost part of the woods. They enjoyed their time with each other when Toothless came and picked them up.
For me it was a horrible ending but never mind. Don't forget to review. If it reaches to 10 reviews. I will add chapter 2. Deadline for views is on July 3, 2013 Philippine Time.
