Chapter 1
"Luna, you're going to be late to school! You better hurry up!" I hear my dad say downstairs. I get dressed, comb my hair, and go downstairs.
"Hey dad!" I say.
"Oh hey sweetie! I made you some pancakes! Hope you like em! I made it especially today since it's your first day here!" I hear. My parents got divorced when I was only 5. I don't really know much details but after they got divorced, I lived with my mom until I was sixteen and went to live with my dad. It's my first day here and I'm off to my new school. I hope no one notices me. I finish up eating my pancakes, grab my backpack, and head to school. It was pretty sunny so I didn't really need an umbrella or anything.
As I started walked up the stairs to the high school as I noticed someone. Him. He was with a bunch of guys and girls, laughing and talking. As I was walking and staring at him, he then noticed me. I immediately looked away, looking at my way. I headed straight to the office, trying to get a locker and a schedule. As I got it, I walked back, trying to open my locker with the combination. 2917. As I put the code, I kept trying and trying but the locker wouldn't budge. Instead, I just walked to my next class which was Biology. I stood at the doorway, looking at everyone else as they were partnering up. As everyone was seated, it was him. Him. It was the only seat that was left. I walked over to the seat, moving my chair as far as possible away from him to avoid any talking. As I looked over at teacher, I noticed someone starring at me. I looked around, and saw him, eye to eye. We both quickly looked away, blushing. I guess I do like him. But does he feel the same way?
