As soon as the doors of the TARDIS were safely shut, The Doctor sunk against them and finally let the tears fall freely from his face.

Somehow he had managed to lose the two most important women in the world to him, within the space of an hour.

It was so unfair.

Words from a song that he'd seen in an old musical with Rose rang too loudly in his hears

It's a lesson that I've learned

And a page I should've turned

I shouldn't cry but I do…

Why did I he torture himself like this?

He definitely was an ordinary fool.

And that was now a film that he would never be able to watch again without being reminded of her.

He couldn't even say her name because it truly broke his heart.

Rose

Oops.

He could feel the tears falling heavier this time, and his old TARDIS set co-ordinates herself, so that her thief could hover in the vortex for a while.

The Doctor leaned his head back against the doors, as he sat on the floor wrapped in his trench coat.

He vowed never again to love a human. Not like he loved Rose, and not like he loved Donna.

No good friends, no lovers.

Only acquaintances.

The only friends he can allow himself to have are ones that he knows will always be there

Like Jack.

At least Jack wouldn't die on him.

He could hardly look at the TARDIS interior because it reminded him too much of them, all of them. Mickey and Martha and Jackie and Donna and Rose.

It was heart-breaking what had happened to Donna. All those amazing things that she did and the amazing times they had, gone. Like they never happened.

And even worse he couldn't just start from scratch and become friends and travel with her again, because her mind would literally burn.

At least he could still see her. Just watch her walk down the street, as long as she didn't see him. He could have that, to make sure she was safe and okay.

He had no idea how Rose was.

She had his half human clone, so he assumed she was happy, but he could never be 100% sure because he would never have any contact with her again.

Ever.

And he still didn't tell her that he loved her.

He was much to coward for that.

So he would go on, alone, and that night The Doctor vowed to never get close with any human again.

He had his TARDIS

He would be fine

He hoped.

Idk I was feeling kind of angsty and sad and then Ordinary Fool from Bugsy Malone came on and this just spilled out.

On another note, I hate having to start again with my account. It's such a pain in the arse.
