It was a bright sunny afternoon and the BN thieves had the day off. They found themselves at a local park.
Balance laid back onto the grass to rest while Naga sat on a blanket near him. After about twenty minutes Balance noticed Naga was writing something on his tablet. He rolled onto his side to face his friend, "What are you so busy writing?"
"Just writing observations," Naga responded as he continued to type.
"Observations?" Balance looked interested.
"Just what I see around me," Naga responded.
Balance sat up, "Can I take a look?"
Naga nodded and after typing a few more words, he handed the tablet to Balance.
'The breeze running through my hair.
Fresh air brings the smell of grass.
The sun glinting off of Balance
He shines brightly
like a diamond he'd want to steal.
Warmth is radiating around me,
From the rays of the sun.
This planets flowers are so different
In reds, purples, and blues.
Like nothing I've ever seen.
It's relaxing here.
No Jark Matter.
No fighting.
So much emotion around
from the children playing nearby,
The lovers on their walk,
The joggers trying to get faster
Smiles on all of their faces
Genuine happiness.
Birds are chirping and jumping.
Bugs buzzing around.
I think this is what happiness feels like:
My favorite person nearby,
Nice weather,
And fresh air.
Maybe all emotions can be this simple.
Maybe I try too hard to feel things
that should just come easy.'
After reading it over Balance gave a small happy laugh, "Looks like you wrote a poem. I'm glad you feel happy, Naga."
"I've noticed I'm normally happy when you are around," Naga commented.
Balance threw an arm around Naga, "You make me happy too, baby."
