"She is just like a goddamn puppy! She leaves messes everywhere and is constantly begging for attention! Not to forget the constant need for being loud and obnoxious! I may as well put a leash on her and set out a bowl of damn water! If I didn't know any better she has a tail." Octavia rubbed her eyes with her left hand as she muttered curse words under her breath. She started to pick up the cluttered mess of clothes and plastic cups that lay around the apartment. "Gone for one day, ONE DAY, and she completely destroys the place." She kept mumbling under her breath. She was exhausted from the wedding she had just played in Canterlot and the long train ride. She finished the mess and wearily walked over to the couch. She fell into the couch only to fall off when she realized that was where Vinyl had been. The two fell to the floor both with a short scream that followed with shock. "GODDAMMIT VINYL, ONE DAY!" Octavia shouted angrily after getting up where she hit her head on the coffee table. "WELL I'M NOT THE PERSON WHO JUST JUMPS ON THEIR ROOMMATE WHILE THEY FUCKING SLEEP!" Vinyl shouted pissed that she was woken up and already being shouted at. Octavia stormed off to her room leaving Vinyl just standing there. Vinyl was still mad at Octavia for waking her up and her yelling only worsened her hang over headache. "STORMING OFF LIKE THAT ISNT GONNA SOLVE ANYTHING YOU KNOW!" Vinyl shouted towards Octavia's room door. She sighed and tried to open the mare's door only to find it locked. "C'mon Tavi locking your door is no use." She said using her magic to unlock the door and stepped inside. The room was dark but enough light shone through so Vinyl knew where she was going. Octavia was on her bed asleep. Vinyl saw the stains on her face from where her friend had cried. Octavia was still in her shoes so Vinyl decided to at least try to fix things. She slid off her friend's shoes and took off her bow tie as well so the thing wouldn't choke her. Vinyl crawled into a ball on the bed next to the cellist and gently licked the tearstain off her cheek and drifted into a dreamless sleep. Octavia woke up the wet feeling of her roommates tongue and waited a few minutes before opening her eyes and putting an arm around her sleeping puppy. "My puppy only," she whispered to herself and fell asleep too. Octavia woke up first and just stared at Vinyl her chest moving softly with her breathing.
Vinyl woke up in her ball alone in the bed. She clambered down the hallway and saw Tavi's note on the table.
"I'm off to Canterlot again… I got a last minute request and I'll be gone for about a week! So stay with a friend or something or DON'T TRASH THE PLACE!"
