Korra sat besides Katara as the duo overlooked Republic city. It was a calm and peaceful night, the sunset glinting of the Pro-Bending arena. Korra looked to the wizened face of her water bending mater and asked, "Why doesn't Tenzin like pro-bending?"
Katara looked at the girl and smiled, "Oh don't let my son fool you, he's mighty fond of the game."
Korra frowned, "Then why won't he let me go?"
"He's an air bender, and as you know the only people allowed to participate in the matches are fire, earth and water benders." Katara smiled, "He wanted to join so badly but it was against the rules, and I suppose it will remain that way until there are enough to go round." She smiled.
"So he's jealous?" Korra asked. Katara hmmed in response. There was silence amongst them again when Korra suddenly spoke up, "Do you think he'll mind coaching us? That way he can be part of a team as well and he won't feel as jealous and maybe let me play!"
Katara looked upon the eager face of the new avatar and smiled, "I think he'd like that very much." Korra whooped in joy as she made her way to Tenzin's chambers to tell him of her proposition.
