TB: *enters with Shoot to Thrill by AC/DC playing in the background* Thank you! Thank you! You're too kind!

KKD: That's… well… I don't know what that was.

TB: I like awesome wrestling like entrances set to rock music. Really flashy ones might I add. Anyway, we got another Marvel story for you guys. This will feature, if you couldn't tell, an android.

KKD: Right. So expect Iron Man to appear, he's the one most associated with tech in the Marvel Universe last I checked.

TB: There's a lot of tech experts in Marvel but hey, one scientific genius at a time. With that said, I need a new set of Disclaimers.

KKD: Not a problem. Just take a clone of the Animal Disclaimers… *takes a copy of the previous Disclaimer screen and begins using a Sonic Screwdriver on it* Just make some tweaks here and there, and… *finishes* Done. *sets up the Disclaimers*

DISCLAIMERS: No one from Team Toku Riders owns anything in this fanfiction except for the original concepts within. The rest are owned by Marvel Comics, Disney, Marvel Studios, Stan Lee, and their respective owners.

TB: Oh… much better.

In a lab, somewhere in New York City, a man was hard at work, constructing a new machine. This man was of Mexican origin, his black hair and mustache having had a lot of sweat collected in them from the long hours he put into his creation while also following his blueprints and precise steps. His lab coat and suit had gotten dirty from the burn marks and oil stains that splattered on it but it didn't stop him. After what seemed like days of working on the project, he removed his goggles, his brown eyes looking up at what he created, a sort of humanoid figure with the man sighing.

"It is done," he stated as he looked down, and the view turns to see a sky blue eye slowly opening for the first time.

We cut to see a skyscraper of sorts with the name "STARK" in bold letters on the front, and a limousine driving up in front of it. From it, we see a man with short brown hair that was slightly raised with gel, a dark brown beard and mustache, brown eyes, and currently wearing a black suit with a white shirt, black shoes, and red tie, step out and walk into the building while being greeted by various reporters and businessmen.

"Mr. Stark, Mr. Stark, with everything that has happened in recent years, how will your company fare?" one of the reporters asked him with a microphone up to him.

"The company fare'll be fine, as long as we don't have any accidents," the man, Tony Stark answered with a little chuckle, "Now if you'll excuse me, I must check the place."

With that, Tony Stark walked into the building, waving and greeting all of his fellow co-workers on the way to his office before the scientist from earlier walked up to him.

"Oh, Mr. Stark, I'm so glad you came," the man greeted, shaking Tony's hand.

"Ah yes, Mr. ...Alvarez, am I right?" Stark inquired.

"Yes, Mark Alvarez. I was hoping I could update you on my project."

"Right. Now Mark, can I call you Mark, what's the current status?"

"Well, Mr. Stark, I feel that since I've worked so hard and long on it, it has become a complete success. Uh, may I show you?"

"Of course," Tony nodded, as they walked over to Mark's lab, with walls covered in some of his earlier blueprints, and his desk filled with papers and a mug of coffee.

They soon walked to the back of the lab where a large capsule stood, currently closed, before Mark ran over to the console to type in some password to open the capsule. It opened up to reveal the humanoid figure from before. It looked like a young girl with short blonde hair and sky blue eyes along with a light pink T-shirt, white skirt, black hot pants and navy blue sneakers.

"This…" Mark started as the girl opened her eyes and began walking out of the capsule, "...is the first in a series of machines that I believe will benefit not only Stark Industries but the entire world as well. She is Drone #0001, but I gave her a name… Lyra."

As he introduced the girl, Lyra, she began to scan the room, her vision currently in a heat-vision mode, before looking at Tony and holding her hand out.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Stark," Lyra greeted, her voice rather soft, airy sounding, and a bit quiet, "I am Lyra."

"Yes, Mark here has told me so," Tony responded as he shook her hand before turning his attention to Mark, "So you have made an android?"

"Si, she is Stark Industries' first android," he explained, "She's designed to solve the most difficult problems and take on missions too dangerous for humans."

"Indeed. I have abilities that surpass human limitations as well as multiple different visions, like Heat Vision, X-Ray Vision, and the vision of a normal human." Lyra explained as her sight changed from red for heat, blue for X-Ray and finally her normal vision with some green text showing as well as a blue reticule to show a sort of targeting system moving from both Tony and Mark.

"But there is one more feature that makes her unique, but I'd rather discuss that with you privately, Mr. Stark." Mark told Tony.

"Oh anything you wanna say to me, you can say to your creation here." he replied.

"No, Mr. Stark. I insist on this one," Mark insisted.

"It's fine, Mr. Stark. If my father has information that he deems very important, then it must remain confidential." Lyra assured.

"Exactly. Thank you, Lyra," Mark smiled.

"Well… okay, if you insist, Mark," Tony shrugged, as they walked out of his lab, walking into a soundproof room where they can discuss, "So, what's so important?"

Mark then took a deep breath and sighed for a moment so he can build up the courage to speak.

"Remember how I said that she is the first in a line of machines, Mr. Stark? Well, that's because she's the first in the line of the most adaptable androids ever. You see, I wanted to design machines that could adapt to human behavior and learn how we think, and most importantly… how we feel."

"Really? That's… pretty interesting… So this will somehow show the people that some robots aren't just emotionless killing machines, it's original." Tony replied.

"See… the thing that makes Lyra so unique out of all those machines, is how she's able to adapt, because…" Mark started to say before he stopped, checked outside to make sure no one was there, before whispering the rest into Tony's ear, "...I managed to implant Lyra with a human brain and a human heart."

"Whoa… that's… a bit different…" Tony responded, not losing his cool tone but still shocked, "I hope you, 1. Asked for permission of rights to do such a thing, and 2. You're insured for such a situation, because this project sounds very expensive."

"Don't worry, Mr. Stark. I asked a relative of an organ donor in order to get the brain and heart needed. I wouldn't do this on a living person, but I needed them for my experiment, no, my daughter so that she can become a learning machine. No, more than a machine."

"Does Lyra know about this?" Tony asked.

"...No… she doesn't… but that's part of the reason why I didn't just say this in front of her. She's not used to human emotions just yet, and yet when she realizes the truth… she might start to worry that was an unethical move, or that she's malfunctioning or-" Mark answered before Tony stopped him from going into a probable panic.

"Mark. Just… calm down. I get it. I won't tell Lyra about this. If it'll help, when she does start learning more of human emotions, I'll just say it's some new chips you designed into her."

"Actually, Mr. Stark, I've been trying to pick when would be the right time to tell her everything but I haven't been sure. I don't know when she'll start experiencing human emotions, or when she'll find out herself. But if anything were to happen to me, you can tell her when you think the time is right. I will trust you with my daughter."

"...Well… if you insist, Mark. I will take her in, should anything happen to you." Tony confirmed as he patted Mark on the shoulder before they returned back to the lab with Lyra sitting at the desk currently researching whatever paperwork he had.

"Thank you, Mr. Stark. You will not be disappointed with this," Mark assured as Tony nodded and waved when he walked out.

"What did he say, father?" Lyra inquired, stopping her research to look at Mark.

"It's a success, Lyra. As of now, our project is a go," Mark smiled, "It'll take some time to make more machines with your abilities but I still have confidence that I can do this. I'm sorry but would you mind going back to sleep while I think for a moment?"

"Of course, father. I wish you good luck, in hopes that this project will be successful." Lyra nodded, returning to her pod and shutting down before the capsule closed.

"Thank you, Lyra…" Mark responded before sitting in his chair to think some more.

Later, there were some loud thump noises that caused Lyra to awaken, only to see nothing except the darkness inside her capsule. She fell back asleep before hearing the thump noises again, and suddenly, Mark opened her capsule.

"Lyra, we need to get out of here," he responded.

"But why?" Lyra responded, confused, before Mark pulled her arm and ran out along with her through the hallways, "Father, what is going on?"

"Someone's after my plans, Lyra. I overheard him talking with some hired goons about it, but I'm gonna get out of here before they can find us."

"Who's they? I do not understand," Lyra responded as they continued to run through the hallways before Mark suddenly screamed in pain after a blast shot was heard, and he fell to the ground, "Father! Father, are you alright?"

"...Lyra… I… I want you… to go… to Mr. Stark. He will help you… just… go… before…" Mark responded, struggling to speak until he was blasted three more times, and we see a man in black suit with red tie, his brown hair currently a mess and his green eyes staring at Lyra.

"So… you must be Drone #0001, codenamed 'Lyra'," the man smirked, trying to move closer to Lyra, "Why don't you come with me?"

Lyra just felt frozen in place, unsure of what to do when suddenly, a man in red and gold armor with a pentagonal blue light in his chest burst in, and picked her up.

"I don't think you'll be taking her anywhere, Judas," the man responded in a slightly robotic voice due to the suit, but Lyra recognized it instantly.

"...Mr. Stark?" she gasped in surprise, before Tony, still in the armor, flew out of the building.

"Just hang tight, Lyra. I'll get you somewhere safe."

"But my father, he's still down there."

"I'm sorry, but… Mark is dead."

Lyra just gasped in shock, unable to believe that her creator/father has died, but she witnessed it happen right in front of her.

"Don't worry, we'll hold a proper funeral for him once we get you to someplace safe," Tony told Lyra as he continued to fly off.

Sometime later, Lyra, Tony (out of suit), and the rest of Stark Industries had a funeral procession for Mark, with a priest giving the farewell as the coffin was being shut, Lyra seeing her father's/creator's face for the last time. She then felt something come out of one of her eyes before she wiped it and realized it was wet. She looked a bit confused at the moment before Tony walked up to her.

"Lyra… if it'll help you, since you don't got anywhere else to go… do you wanna stay at my place?" he asked.

"...Why? Why do you show concern for me? I am just a machine," Lyra asked, confused.

"I'll explain everything if you agree to come with me. You'll be much safer with me after what happened,"

Lyra thought about it for a moment.

"It does sound like the most logical conclusion," Lyra figured, "I suppose I could stay with you until it is safer."

Later, the duo arrived at Tony's house, which appeared to be located near the oceanway, and it looked like a luxury manor with a modern design to it, mostly painted white and beige in some spots. They walked inside, Lyra looking around before meeting a redheaded woman with brown eyes, wearing a black outfit with a short sleeveless top, a black skirt, and some black shoes.

"Welcome back, Tony. And… who is this?" the woman inquired.

"Pepper, meet Lyra. Lyra, this is Pepper Potts." Tony answered, introducing the ladies to each other.

"Um…" Lyra stated before extending her hand, "It's a pleasure to meet you, Ms. Potts."

"Likewise, Lyra," Pepper responded, shaking her hand.

"Lyra, can we talk for a moment?" Tony asked, with Lyra nodding in response before she and Tony sat on two couches across from each other, "Listen Lyra… I'm very sorry about the loss of your father."

"Well… I… I honestly do not know what to say," Lyra replied before she felt the strange moistness emerge from her eye again, and then rubbed it off, "I've been feeling these… sensations ever since the funeral, and this happens. I also heard a strange thumping noise when I was sleeping one time. Could I be malfunctioning?"

"On the contrary, Lyra. You are functioning normally, it's just that you are sad over the loss of your creator. It's very common."

"Sad? How could I feel emotions when I am only a machine? It's scientifically impossible."

"Well… how do I explain this?" Tony pondered aloud, "Your father implanted you with a human brain and a human heart in order for you to be a more effective learning machine. Well, more than machine he said."

"What? He… really did such a thing to build me?!" Lyra gasped in shock.

"Yeah… I'm afraid he did. But he didn't get them from a living person, I assure you. He got them from a donor somewhere, not sure where, but the fact remains that he gave you those things so you can learn how us, we humans, feel. Now you are currently in a state of sadness, and we're here to help."

"...Really?"

"Yes. Really. Now as for what happened back at Stark Industries, someone from within the company heard of your father's idea and thought it could be used for, as he puts it, a more effective purpose," as Tony explained that, he pulled up one of his many holographic computer monitors and showed her the image of the man she saw earlier, "His name is Judas Astromoff, and he was willing to kill your father in order to get his idea."

"But… why?" Lyra asked, confused.

"Out of spite and jealousy, no doubt. I can only assume he wants to make the drones into an army," Tony figured, "What he plans to do with the army… I don't know. But I'm not going to just stand by and let that lunatic do what he pleases."

"...And… what was that metallic suit you were wearing earlier for, Mr. Stark?"

"Oh, that?" Tony responded, before he got up from his couch, walked up to a section of wall, and opened it up with the press of a button revealing several armor models similar to the one Lyra saw before, "What you saw me in was the Iron Man Mark XXVIII armor. If you recall Iron Man from your databanks, you'd know he is a Superhero, and one of those who was a starting member of the Avengers; I am Iron Man."

Lyra then placed her right index and middle fingers to her temple, her vision suddenly gaining transparent blue popup windows which scanned through her data, and was soon came across the information on Iron Man, which she looked at with lightning fast speed. "Already done, Mr. Stark." she said.

"Good. In that case, Pepper would you please show Lyra to her room?" Tony asked Pepper.

"Yes, Tony," Pepper nodded before Lyra got up and walked with her before stopping a moment to look at Tony.

"...Thanks for letting me stay, Mr. Stark," she thanked.

"No problem. Also, Mr. Stark was my father's name. Call me Tony," Tony insisted.

"Oh… okay," Lyra nodded, as she walked with Pepper upstairs to a vacant room that had a big bed and a nice view of the ocean.

"Hope you'll be comfortable, Lyra," Pepper said, "If you need anything just let me, or Jarvis know."

"If you don't mind me asking, who is this Jarvis?"

-That would be me, Ms. Lyra,- a male British sounding voice with a slight robotic tone to it answered, -I serve as Mr. Stark's artificial intelligence around his home and for-

"For his armor, right?" Lyra replied, having checked her data on Jarvis.

-Yes indeed, very good deduction, Ms. Lyra,- the voice, Jarvis confirmed.

"You have an A.I. in your home? I find it most fascinating." Lyra commented, honestly surprised by this.

"Glad you're satisfied, I'll be going downstairs now. Enjoy your stay," Pepper bid as she walked downstairs, leaving Lyra to examine her new abode.

As Lyra continued scanning the area, she walked outside on the balcony to look at the view of the ocean. As she looked at the ocean view, she began to process all that's transpired before she began shedding tears again.

"Again?" Lyra said confused as she wiped them away from with her hands.

-You miss your father, do you not?- Jarvis asked her.

"...I… I guess so… I'm still not used to these… emotions," Lyra answered, her voice starting to sound shaky, "Wh-what? N-Now my voice is…" As she said that, she finally began to start crying a bit.

-Mr. Stark informed me that this would occur. No one should have to go through watching the very person they look up to suddenly taken from them. Unfortunately, Mr. Stark had to go through the same scenario, his father having died when he was young, too,- Jarvis informed Lyra, who was wiping her face.

"...R-Really?" Lyra responded, honestly curious about this revelation.

-Indeed he was. He has grown into a strong man despite this, however, and I think he has changed for the better. Who knows, maybe you'll go through the same process. Learning to cope with your loss and learn what it means being human.- Jarvis confirmed as Lyra walked back in the room and sat on her bed.

"I… I see…" Lyra nodded, laying down on her bed, "Thank you, Jarvis."

-You're welcome, ma'am. Would you like to watch some TV?- Jarvis asked before Lyra looked at one wall and saw it flip to reveal a huge flatscreen TV, with some radio speakers on the other side of the flip doors.

"Yes, I would." Lyra answered as Jarvis turned on the TV.

Meanwhile, the man who killed Lyra's creator/father, Judas was working in a small factory some 7 miles away, with the blueprints for the machines that Mark was hoping to make. Judas then walked on over near a system that was making various machine parts, welding part after part on the assembly line, putting together a drone of some kind with a skinny waist and rabbit-like ears.

"Perfect, everything's going according to plan," Judas said with a smirk on his face, "Well… why don't we take you out on a test drive?"

"Hey Lyra, I'm gonna go shopping to get some stuff, you wanna come…" Tony started as he walked into Lyra's room, only to find her sleeping on her bed with the TV turned on, "Well, isn't that cute. C'mon, wake up Lyra."

"Huh," Lyra muttered, yawning a moment as she slowly woke up and saw Tony, "Oh, my apologies, Tony. I must've slept while the TV was still on."

"I noticed. So, do you wanna come shopping with me?"

"Sure. Perhaps this'll provide a good opportunity to learn more about how humans function in everyday life," Lyra replied as she got off her bed.

"Good. Because we're going to go to 5th Street to get some food for the house and maybe some new clothes for you."

"Okay," Lyra responded before they walked out.

Later, the two were walking down 5th Street, Lyra looking a bit overwhelmed by the crowds that plagued the streets.

"How do these people manage to get through this massive ocean of a crowd to get to their destinations?" Lyra asked, baffled by the large amount of people.

"Just be glad this only happens in New York," Tony replied, before they arrived at a food store and walked in to go get some bread, meat, drinks and other stuff.

After that, they go to a nearby clothing store, browsing through the feminine section for clothes that Lyra would wear.

"See anything that you like?" Tony asked.

"Hmm… well…" Lyra started as she started looking before finding a red shirt with a floral pattern on it, some navy blue sweat pants and white sneakers, "How about these?"

"Yea, I think that'll work."

"What about that one?" Lyra asked as she pointed to a red dress that was sleeveless, strapless, and had a wavy pattern on the bottom, "It looks beautiful."

"Sure, if you want," Tony nodded, as Lyra went to go get the dress.

After making their purchases, the two started walking back to Tony's place when all of a sudden, people started screaming, causing Lyra and Tony to stop. They looked up to see the drone from before holding a machine gun shooting around, forcing people to duck, and destroying different vehicles as well as doing property damage.

"What in the world?!" Lyra gasped, ducking behind a nearby car along with Tony, "I'm currently experiencing a new sensation. Is this what you call anxiety?"

"Anxiety or fear would be accurate, but it depends on the situation. But we can't let that stop us! I'm gonna suit up, you evacuate the people!" Tony instructed Lyra before he ran to his car.

"Affirmative," she answered before she rushed off to help evacuate the citizens, "Everyone, please get inside! Back away from the street, and lock your doors!"

As Lyra ushered the people towards the buildings, the drone stopped firing and looked at her. It then jumped down and stared her down before it lifted its right arm up and started firing a minigun from its forearm that unfolded out. However, Lyra just stood there, taking the bullet shots as her skin simply developed scratch marks, and her clothes (and some parts of her skin) were burnt, but she was unaffected. She then put her fingers to her temple again, her vision identified some marks on the robot, indicating weak spots, while some popup windows listed it's strengths and weaknesses. At the same time, Lyra also pulled up more popup windows of what appeared to be fighting data, which (at lightning speeds) analyzed different fighting styles, martial arts, armed combat, etc..

"A drone created by Judas Astromoff. Its titanium armor is tough, covering its weak spots. However, the joints and the waist are still somewhat exposed to allow mobility, and its targeting system is located somewhere around his neck. If that were to be removed, it would be incapable of locating potential targets out of a large crowd. Downloading of all fighting styles known to man, complete. Engaging in combat mode." Lyra replied before she walked towards the robot.

The drone was about to fire again, but Lyra grabbed the arm with the gun and just tore the minigun off before crushing it. The drone then tried punching her but she moved with grace, dodging each punch before ramming her elbow into it's elbow joints, somehow disabling them. She then applied some kicks to the back of its knees, sending it to the ground, causing a panel to open in it's back, revealing one of its weak points; an exposed circuit board that looked bulky and was connected to some wires. She smashed her fist into the panel, breaking the circuit board before she pulled out both pieces, shutting the drone down. It wasn't long before Tony, now in his Iron Man suit came by and surveyed what just happened.

"Looks like you got it covered," he noted, landing next to Lyra.

"It was simple; the technology was too inferior to-" Lyra began before the robot somehow turned on and punched her, knocking her over, "I… I thought I turned it off."

"Must've had a back-up system installed somewhere," Iron Man figured as the drone tried to fire a missile from its left arm before Iron Man pointed the arm away, but the missile already fired, "Oh no!"

Lyra looked at where the missile was headed, seeing a child crying alone, but he sat in front of a gas truck. Almost with lightning speeds, Lyra ran right for the child seconds before the missile hit the truck, making it explode on impact. Lyra used her body to cover the child, shielding him from the ensuing explosion, as the fire presumable engulfed her. When the fire died down, Lyra revealed the child was okay, but her back and shirt were clearly burned, the shirt looking like it may fall off at a moment's notice.

"I want you to go inside, and look for your parents, ok? They'll keep you safe," Lyra instructed the young boy who nodded and ran back inside.

She then refocused on the drone, who was currently fighting Iron Man, its right arm still disabled, but its left arm still functioning properly as it attempted to lift up and throw Iron Man before Lyra rushed in, grabbed the left arm and disabled it by hitting the elbow joint. She then located the targeting system once again, found in the back of the neck, before grabbing it and yanking it out leaving the drone disoriented.

"Good job, Lyra. Jarvis, any idea where his back-up system is located?" Iron Man responded.

-Scanning.- Jarvis responded as an outline appeared over the drone in Iron Man's vision, -It seems to be located in the drone's chest.-

"Then that's where we strike," Iron Man figured, "Lyra, you think you can distract it while I charge up a shot?"

"With pleasure," Lyra nodded, as she ran up to the robot before doing a Superman punch to its head.

The drone, disoriented and disarmed, attempted to kick Lyra, but it had trouble keeping balance. After Lyra dodged his attempted kick she continued to punch the drone like it was a dummy used in martial arts training.

"I'm ready now, Lyra!" Iron Man shouted, getting her attention before she rolled out of the way and Iron Man forced his right palm at the drone, sending a blast of plasma energy out and hitting it in the chest, destroying it.

"That was… exhilarating," Lyra noted as Iron Man's helmet opened up to reveal Tony's face, "What is this one called now?"

"Adrenaline?" Tony responded.

"Yea… I feel… adrenaline. However, I find it unlikely that we can do that again,"

Tony just chuckled in response before all the people walked out and started cheering, making Lyra smile and then feel another unfamiliar sensation but figures it out quite quickly. For the first time ever, she feels really happy.

Later, Tony and Lyra arrived back at his place with the stuff they got, Tony sweaty and Lyra still burnt and scratched up.

"That was some fight. I was able to download all data on fighting styles while also scan his body for strengths and weak spots simultaneously," Lyra informed, "Thanks to my father, I'm able to process the information in record times. He must've created me for some sort of… greater purpose."

"Now let's not get ahead of ourselves here, Lyra. The drone was created by Judas, so he obviously wanted to test its capabilities. If he wasn't he would've sent an entire army of those already," Tony informed, "Since we were able to destroy it so easily, it's best if we prepare ourselves, because he's going to upgrade his drones to make certain that we don't succeed. Since you've proven that you can handle yourself in a fight, might I suggest giving you an upgrade so you can be more battle-ready?"

Lyra just thought about it for a moment, considering the option and that it could help her.

"I accept your offer, Tony." she answered.

KKD: Well, that got more action-packed at a faster rate than Animal's story… I think…

TB: Or maybe it's better paced than Animal, but what're you gonna do. Anyway, I really enjoyed writing this along with making Lyra, aka Andromeda.

KKD: Yea, that was pretty cool. So, anything worth noting before moving on to favorites?

TB: We'll be uploading another Marvel story along with this one. Anyway, my favorite part was Lyra just being herself and her taking out the drone (that resembles the robots from Chappie).

KKD: Yea. My favorite part was actually the fight, because we get to see Lyra in action, and she's really good.

TB: Sometimes it's fun just to see a fistfight aside from all the showy special effects or kicks or flips. Now, let's get moving to that other Marvel story.

KKD: Right. Until next time, this has been KKD Silver…

TB: And the Lone Rider, TokuBrony, signing off.

KKD: Jaa ne!

TB: SEIYAA!
