Link's Love: original Legend of Zelda story
Prologue:
Link found himself back in the Lost Woods of Hyrule, wondering if what just happened was real or a dream, an adventure created by his mind.
"That was, weird." Link said to himself. "I guess I should continue my search for Navi."
Link has been searching for, Navi the fairy, his friend and partner in defeating the evil tyrant Ganondorf, for weeks, with absolutely no luck at finding her. He has searched the desert, the lake, the mountains, and now the woods.
"I, I think she's gone for good", Link said to himself, "I'm never going to see her again, and all because I'm not a Kokiri." Link started to cry, and
continued, "I'm never going to see her, just like the sages. Impa Darunia, Saria, Nabooru, Rauru, Ruto..."
Ruto...
Link suddenly remembered a few things: a, that doesn't happen for another 7 years, and b, that he was engaged to Princess Ruto, princess of the Zora's, and that he still has feelings for her, before she became a sage.
"But that's not for another 7 years" Link said to himself again.
Epona, links horse, whinnied. Link realized that she was hungry. He fed her and after, got on her back and said, "Come on girl, got some things to do." And started off.
