July 24, 2027
Finn snuck into the church and slid behind the curtains. Today was turning out to be the worst day of his life, Rachel was marrying Jessie. JESSIE! Of all people, she had to choose him. He had hurt her so badly, Finn had never seen her as heartbroken as she was when Jessie left her right before regionals of their sophomore year. But Finn fixed that and look where it got him; hiding behind the curtain at Rachel's wedding. Finn scanned the room he spotted Jessie at the altar looking proud. Continuing to scan the room he found Rachel's mom and the entire New Directions clan minus Quinn and Tina along with Mr. Schuester and Mrs. Schuester nee Pillsbury, who was looking very pregnant. A few minutes later the organ started playing and Finn saw Beth walk down the aisle in her pretty pink flower girl dress, followed by Tina and Quinn who were Rachel's bridesmaids. Finally, Rachel along with both of her dad's started walking down the aisle. Her dress was so beautiful. They made it to the end and Rachel's dads each kissed her cheek before giving her hand to Jessie and sitting down with Shelby. The preacher began to speak and Finn thought of a song Speak Now by Taylor Swift and started singing part of it in his head changing the words slightly
"I am hiding in the curtains seems I was uninvited by your lovely groom to be, she floats down the aisle like a pageant queen and I know she wishes it was me she wishes it was me. I hear the preacher say speak now or forever hold your peace there's a silence there's my last chance I slide out with shaky hands all eyes on me." Finn could feel all the eyes on him as he came out from behind the curtains and started singing. He could see the New Directions clan along with Rachel's parents encouraging him. As he sang he altered the words to fit his situation.
"I am not the kind of boy, who should be rudely barging in on a white veil occasion but you are not the kind of girl who should be marrying the wrong boy. Don't say yes run away now I'll meet you when you're out of the church at the back door. Don't wait or say a single vow you need to hear me out and they said speak now." The church was silent. Rachel turned to Jessie and uttered one word
"No." Finn had closed his eyes in grief and was about to turn away when suddenly he felt a hand on his arm. Finn opened his eyes and there was Rachel, he put his arms around her and kissed her. Finn could hear all of New Directions cheering. Rachel and Finn broke apart just before they heard a small scream. It was Mrs. Schuester, her husband was looking at her concerned.
"My water just broke" she panted. Mr. Schuester rushed his wife to the car and started driving to the hospital while New Directions followed. Eva Rachel Schuester and William Finn Schuester were born on July 24, 2017 named in honor of Finchel getting back together. Three months later Finn proposed to Rachel and they were married. Everything that happened with Jessie was more or less forgotten.
