Many years ago, as we have known much of our beloved and funny-humored Team Chaotix, but there is one small little story you might have never heard…
"He's breathing, right?" the armadillo, Mighty, was asking the loyal Guardian of the Master Emerald, who was sitting on a stone step with a bundle of green blankets in his arms.
"Yes," Knuckles nodded, "It's a good thing we found him before those fires came." He lifted the top part of the blanket to reveal a baby black bee with closed orange eyes and he slept soundly.
Two others, a purple chameleon, Espio and the loving-crocodile Vector also walked over to take a good look at the little sleeping insect in Knuckles' fatherly hold.
"And he's so young…" Espio whispered.
Mighty thought for a moment, "I guess we have to take him in since there are no signs of the others?"
"They all have passed on by the fire," the echidna looked down, "No one else was left in the village where this child came from and no sign of his parents either."
"Curse that Robotnik." The lavender lizard clenched his fist in anger, "He always has to ruin others' lives and homes, doesn't he?" He disliked the doctor with great hatred towards him.
"Yeah, that really sucks." Vector finally stepped in, "But we should be thankful that if it weren't for any of us, this kid would've been Robotnik toast."
"Vector, I swear…" Espio sighed, but then they heard the baby whimpering, as he wiggled in the grasp of the Guardian.
"You'll be okay…" Knuckles said soothingly, as he watched the little child squirm in the bundle, "Guys, since he's one of us now, he should have a name."
"His name is Charmy…"
"Huh?" The Team Chaotix turned to Knuckles' father, Locke as he stared at the Master Emerald.
"Dad…?" The Guardian wondered.
"There are reasons in life these things happen, and this young boy will be a gift to us all. Take care of little Charmy, and one day, who knows? He might be of very good use to you all…"
"Did you guys hear that?" Mighty said, looking again at the smiling baby bee.
"I agree too." Espio crossed his arms with a soft smile.
"We have a special little guy." Knuckles nodded.
Vector beamed with pride, "A brand new member to Team Chaotix."
