QUICK TINY NOTE JUST SO YOU GUYS GET THIS STORY.
So someone (shepweir always (Guest) ) gave me a lovely review on my last Sherlolly story which was set during Christmas and they suggested more holiday-set Sherlolly fics. Their suggestion was Valentines and I had this idea for a while so i thought it might work :)
Not sure what time-setting it is in but i guess post-fall and post-Sherlock's return...
Okay? Thank you for all the reviews on my last fic :D gracias and (hopefully) enjoy xoxoxo
I'd Rather Text
Molly Hooper enjoyed Valentine's Day like any other girl might. The best part of it all was, she did not spend it in a cold, putrid room filled with dead bodies this year.
She was a surgeon now: Glad to watch patients leaving the room, if not only better, but also actually alive.
As she sat in her office, organizing files, her phone beeped. She patted her light blue pant pockets and pulled the phone out quickly.
Alkali? –SH
"What?" she whispered to herself.
Suddenly, Sherlock himself dashed into the room and left a small plastic bag on her table with a strange soppy-something inside. Before either could say another word Sherlock ran out of her room. Her phone beeped again.
Quickly. –SH
An hour later she finally made it to the lab and had the results.
Ph is 12. Base. –Molly.
While she cleaned the lab she received an unexpected text.
Thank you –SH
Now what was unexpected about it?
One-When Sherlock gets what he is looking for he doesn't bother responding.
Two- Sherlock responded by thanking her.
Confused but flattered she shoved the phone back into her pocket, only to be disturbed with another beep.
Open the door. –SH
She looked up to see him standing behind the door. He snapped a glance down at his hands and the moment he looked back up at her she received another text.
Please. –SH
She walked to the door, opened it and said "The door may be locked but I could still hear you if you just ask-"
Another incoming text silenced her.
Please, don't. –SH
She closed her mouth as her heart increased its beat.
She heard a faint ruffling sound behind him.
Molly pulled her phone out and typed in a message. Soon enough his own phone beeped.
What's behind your back? –Molly
His nose cringed before pulling out a small elegant bouquet of soft pink roses and handing it to her.
Happy Valentine's Day –SH
She was speechless.
Thanks –Molly She texted and smiled as she took the roses.
Molly stepped closer, stood on her tiptoes and pressed her lips to his cheek.
When she sank back on to heel, she dared to remain closer than usual to Sherlock.
Why wouldn't you just talk? –Molly
He smirked.
I'd rather text. –SH
She smiled.
You say that to everyone. –Molly
He narrowed his eyes at her.
What makes you think you're special? –SH
Molly raised her eyebrows and waved the roses in front of her.
The sides of his mouth twitched in amusement
Talking is boring. –SH
She was about to say something in protest when he placed his hand on her right cheek, leaning closer and closer, and finally his mouth pressed to hers.
Although the shock, Molly immediately shut her eyes and sighed in pleasure. She gripped the bouquet as his hands snaked around her and pressed on her shoulder blades
His lips molded with hers, occasionally a soft smacking sound of their lips moving together disturbed the sweet silence in the room.
Unfortunately his mouth left hers, she took her time opening her eyes and looked back up at him.
She smiled softly, not wanting to speak and ruin the effect. But also not able to reach her phone for her fingertips where numb.
Finally, breaking the silence Sherlock spoke.
"Text me." He said before waltzing out of the room.
