It Doesn't Matter
Omi sat up in bed, still fully dressed. He got up and took a quick look around.
Good, there was no one in sight.
Omi carefully tiptoed to the door of the Xiaolin Temple.
He was feeling very guilty. He definitely should not bedoing this.
Sneaking out to see Chase Young is a very bad thing. Especially sense it wasn't just to train anymore…
STOP
'It does not matter,' Omi thought to himself, trying to become convinced that he wasn't doing anything wrong. It wasn't working.
'I am doing nothing wrong,' he tried to convince himself again. 'If I didn't show up to meet Chase Young, then he would come get me'.
And that would most definitely not be pretty. He'd probably be very mad and hurt his friends for making Omi feel guilty.
He suddenly felt a lot better. 'Yes, that's why I'm doing this," he lied to himself.
'To protect them…'
