Disclaimer: I Do Not Own Harry Potter.

Written for Hopscotch.

Prompt: Crucio.

"Crucio," Narcissa whispers, the way she says it is so gentle that Hermione can't believe that something said that way could cause so much pain.

Hermione doesn't scream not anymore anyway because if she screams the longer this will go on for.

Narcissa loves her and doesn't want to do this Hermione is sure of that, but has to do because she keep Hermione in her place these are the rules now.

Mudbloods have to know their place and its whimpering at a Purebloods feet once the pain is over. Hermione doesn't whimper at Narcissa's feet when its over because Narcissa hates weakness of any kind.

After it's over Narcissa will leave her alone for hours in the dark which Hermione hates but Narcissa always returns with a treat. Sometimes it's a book or new clothes, sometimes its a food Hermione likes or if Narcissa thinks she really deserves it, she lets Hermione out of the dungeons and lets Hermione sleep in her bed.

Of course she would prefer the treats without the pain or being left alone in the dark for so long but that is the way things are. She can't change the way things are and in the isn't "Crucio," another way to say "I love you,".
