This is a first under the Dark Knight Trilogy by Nolan. I rather like his interpret of the characters for Batman. I probably do some more of the Nolan Movie versions for Batman when doing the movie and not the animated or comic ones.
Disclaimer: Dark Knigh Triology belongs to Nolan. Just own the plot only.
Under the Darkness
Summary: The Dark Knight will forever be part of him as he claims it to be his darkness that been born on the day of his parents' murder. He found a similar kin in the Joker, a light in Selina that sends him to near the end of the tunnel. Where would he be under the darkness watching his city from the shadows of the dark moon.

The sounds of cars blaring in the streets below. The rates of the crimes not as high fearing the signal will come to light. The Bat come to play.
Standing on the roof with a glass of bourbon in hand with the mask off of his face, Bruce Wayne smiles rather empathically. Shrouded in the shadows as the shine of the full moon hidden among dark clouds suits him just fine. It been a similar night that his parents where mugged and died. A night after having to go into the darkness of the cave trying to face his fears of bats flying out lead him to become the dark crusader.
He shakes his head feeling the first few icy drops of snow making him look at the sky. How strange it feels rather nice to be out instead of somewhere partying or rather Selina is busy at home resting. He feels his heart warm thinking of her, his Cat. She is his light from the long darkness of the tunnel he's traveling through.
He remembers her asking if there been another almost a strange kinship but he couldn't quite reply to it. How could he when he hasn't seen hide or hair of the man. The Joker. He couldn't be sure but maybe another and time there could be a possible friendship between them. His lips curls slightly. That damn annoying clown.
The Joker been a great strategist. It been rather interesting the dynamics and how it feels much like a game of chess. It push at his patience as he try to figure him out. How he manage to push the fact the citizens would react to him is still astounding.
He admit he fallen after the death of Harvey Dent but it taken a long and very hard road to rise back up. Bruce shakes his head while his hazel eyes looks upon he city of Gotham that's his to protect. He rises the glass up taking a sip.
"To You Joker….in a strange way you were right and apparently I need to learn my lesson as I might been becoming cocky for my own good." Bruce said in the night as more snow begins to fall making him smirk before setting the glass aside knowing Fox will come up later to see he been there to think. "Time to go home."
The Dark Knight takes off running across the roof getting the remote for the Batmobile to come to his location. He been gone from home long enough. He has his light to help cheer him up. It's just he want a few moments to be alone as he can finally let go of the things been building up as the regret and pain still be there but not a heavy load and more easy to handle.
