This is a poem about Hotaru talking about Setsuna (did that make sense?). Anyways, it would have to take place after Hotaru is re-born or at the end of the series. Read and you'll understand why. Review please! Your comments rock!

"Guardian of Time"

I can see your silhouette
Outlined in the fog.
You stand after sunset;
You stand for so long.
Guardian of time.

I watch your orb of garnet
Sometimes sparkle in the sky,
And also in that rare moment,
There's a sparkle when you cry,
Guardian of time.

I know your life isn't normal
Being unable to truly live.
You mustn't let time unravel -
Therefore your life is what you give,
Guardian of time.

I wish I could free you
From your dismal post,
But there's nothing I can do
Except long to hold you close,
Guardian of time.

I love it when you're here -
Although it's in times of danger.
It's your leaving I always fear,
For up there you become a stranger,
Guardian of time.

I remember how you taught me
When I was so young,
And how you'd whisper a lullaby;
You were so quiet when you sung,
Guardian of time.

I obey my guardians are you said,
But how I do miss you so.
Sometimes I feel like part of me is dead.
Oh why did you have to go?
Guardian of time.
