Gabrielle awoke with a jerk. "Xena, get your cold feet off of me."
"Those aren't my feet."
Gabrielle's green eyes snapped open. "Joxer!"
"Joxer," Xena commanded, "get out of our bed."
"But I'm cold! Eep!" he screeched, finding a dagger at his nose.
"Go sleep with Argo."
He slid out of their bed and walked, with his proverbial tail tucked between his legs, to the door. He paused as he opened it, mumbling, "It's not like I care that you two are naked." Xena's chakram hit the door just as he closed it behind him. Joxer ran all the way to Argo.
