Hey guys, I'm back! Sorry it's taken me so long to publish or update something, but I've been having a lot of good ideas lately for fanfictions and can't wait to write them. Please R&R!

Kagome awoke to the sound of her window opening, and knew immediately that it was her silver haired hangyo.

She had come home a few days ago to study and make up some of her tests.

Kagome heard Inuyasha walk over to her bed, still thinking she was asleep. He sat on the floor by her bed and she heard him sniffle. She rolled over and saw a tear make its way down his cheek. She became very worried, considering he never cried.

She sat up and whispered, "Inuyasha?" He looked away from her, hiding his face with his bangs. Kagome scooted off her bed and sat in front of him. She wiped away the tear and held his cheek. "Inuyasha?" she asked again, "What's wrong?"

Inuyasha just shook his head and wrapped his arms around her, need to feel her comfort at the moment. She returned his hug, rubbing his back in a comforting way as he silently cried.

After he calmed down a little he held her closer and whispered, "It was just a nightmare." He felt weak for letting such a stupid thing as a nightmare shake him up so much.

FLASHBACK:

He was running through the forest, looking for Kagome. He didn't know where she was but knew she was in trouble.

As he neared a clearing he could smell her blood, his stomach flipping immediately as he sped up. When he entered the clearing, his eyes widened as he saw Kagome collapse on the ground with a bear demon looming over her.

Inuyasha rushed over and chopped the demon's head off. He then ran over and knelt down next to Kagome and saw a pool of blood forming from the gash in her side. He pressed his hands against the gash, putting pressure on it to try and stop the bleeding. He looked up at Kagome and saw her eyes start to drift shut, "Kagome, you need to stay awake. Open your eyes." he said forcefully but nicely.

She only smiled slightly as she said, "Inuyasha, I hope you have a happy life with Kikyo, sorry for keeping you from her for so long." Then she took her last breath and closed her eyes for the last time.

Inuyasha felt tears come to his eyes as Kagome died in his arms, "No, no, no! Kagome! I need you, please don't leave me. I- I love you." he whispered the last part, regretting that he was never able to tell her.

Inuyasha woke up and almost fell out of his tree, Tears came to his eyes as he remembered his dream. He ran towards the well, needing to see and touch Kagome, to make sure she was okay.

END FLASHBACK:

Kagome hugged him tighter and whispered, "It's okay now, you're okay."

Inuyasha felt tears coming back to his eyes, "Kagome, promise...promise you won't leave me, ever."

Kagome sighed, "Inuyasha, I can only stay with you until you go to Kikyo. I can't keep you from her for forever."

Inuyasha got angry at this, 'Does she really think I'm still going to go with Kikyo?'

"Wench, I owe Kikyo revenge and nothing else, I will never go to hell with Kikyo." He remembered how he regretted not telling her how he felt in his dream and whispered, "Kagome, I- I love you, and only you."

Kagome gasped, 'Does he really mean it?' she thought before saying, "I love you too, Inuyasha."

Inuyasha was overwhelmed with joy, he lifted her chin so that she would look at him, then he kissed her lightly.

Kagome was surprised by the kiss, but then she kissed him back, wrapping her arms around his kneck.

After Inuyasha pulled away to breath, he leaned his head against hers and she whispered, "Inuyasha, I promise."
