Authors Note: A story of remembrance. This really doesn't have anything to do with the series it's just a short story only one page long please review and let me know what ya think. It's kind of a Christmas story.

Her long black hair moved softly when the wind blew, her green eyes were full of joy as she stared at the beautiful Christmas lights hanging all around the buildings we walked by. "April, what would you like for Christmas?" I asked. She smiled softly, " I would really love…anything you get" She replied.
April is the love of my life and I am planning on marrying her soon, I already had a ring picked out for her and now I will take her to a special place and ask her to marry me.
I took April by the hand and lead her down a long path covered in snow, "Duke! Where are we going?" She asked but I didn't reply until we stopped.
We stopped at this beautiful table in the park cover by a beautiful white silk cloth so we would get snowed on. "What is all this?" She asked curiously. I lead her to the table. The table was covered by a red silk cloth, there were several candles and pink, red and white rose's aligned the table and the food.
Her eyes filled with tears as she hugged me. "It's beautiful". She exclaimed through her tears. I pulled out a chair for her and then pushed her in. She was still crying. "April I have something for you". I said and then I knelt down on one knee., I saw the joy in her eyes as she tried not to cry any more. "April Marie Donavan, will you marry me". I said after pulling out a black velvet box and opened it to reveal a diamond ring.
April began to cry as she threw her arms around my neck, "YES! I will marry you Duke!" She exclaimed and the she kissed me.
Two weeks later on Christmas day.
April and I had just finished saying I do and are now reading our vows. She went first.
"My dearest Duke. I promise to love and to cherish you for the rest of our lives. I will do everything in my power to make you the happiest husband alive. I will always love you no matter what. I will care for you, I will hold you and I will never cheat or lie". She said while holding back her tears.
"My dearest April. I never thought I would find someone as special as you. You have never judged me for my past, you have never hated me for anything and I thank you for that. Any one else would have judged me or turned me away but you didn't. I promise to love you for all time, I promise to take care of you and children. You are the most special woman to me and I will never hurt you in any way shape of form. I will love you for all time. And then we kissed.
And we lived happily ever after
