Disclaimer: I do not own the Legion or any of the characters from Fallout: New Vegas. They belong to Bethesda and other respective sponsors.

Author's Note: So back in 2011, I switched up some lyrics to the song "Arabian Nights" to suit Fallout 3, which became known as Wastelandian Nights. It was more or less for fun. Here's another for Fallout: New Vegas. The original song is "Marketplace" from Joseph King of Dreams. It reminded me of the Legion so this happened. There were some stanzas where I just couldn't figure out how to rhyme it properly so I substituted them for Latin. The Latin for this is by no means perfect so please don't flame me for my shitty Latin! Translations for the Latin stanzas (sorta) at the end of the fic.

"Canticum Legio"

Behold the glory, behold the wonder

What we have made shall not be torn asunder

Such vast achievement, stone and mortar

Beneath the gaze of mighty Caesar

Fortiter in re

Ferus in modo

Ab origine

Erga aeterno

Serve and be silent, you who are chattel

We think of you as little more than cattle

This is your lot now and we advise you

To bow before whatever master buys you

Feel the power here

Power has its price

Some can live like gods

Some must sacrifice

Per decennia

Viri fortis

Creavit somnia

Consilio et animis

Learn and be humbled

Learn what your place is

Legion slave no matter what your race is

This is your future, your life suspended

And everything you knew before has ended

You are Legion now

We have all control

From your every step

To your very soul
