Hey, guys! This is my first Fiolee fic, I hope you like it. Please review and tell me what you think! Disclaimer: The words in italics are lyrics from "Can't Help Falling In Love" written by Hugo Peretti, George David Weiss, and Luigi Creatore, performed by Elvis Presley. I do not own these lyrics. This fic was inspired by the twenty one pilots cover of "Can't Help Falling In Love", which is gorgeous. I highly suggest you listen to it if you haven't already. ~jarjarjinx

"Wise men say only fools rush in," The vampire hovered outside Fionna's window, strumming his guitar. He sang loud in order to get her attention, but the racket of her sword-swinging drowned out his voice. "But I can't help falling in love with you." Pausing, the boy waited for her to notice him. When she did not, he smushed his face against the window with a loud thud.

The girl whirled around and nearly threw her sword. "Marshall?" Lowering her weapon, she walked over to the window and opened it. "What are you-?" She was hushed by his singing.

"Shall I stay? Would it be a sin?" He casually floated on his back, as if he was lounging on a couch. "But I can't help falling in love with you."

Strumming, he flew higher and turned a slow loop-de-loop. "Like a river flows, surely to the sea, darling so it goes," He swooped down to Fionna's eye level and gazed at her. "Some things are meant to be."

The girl's cheeks flushed vibrant pink as the vampire drew closer, his voice dropping. "Take my hand. Take my whole life too. But I," His eyes pierced hers. "Can't," She wanted to draw back, but something held her in place. "Help. Falling in love with you." His warm breath tickled her cheeks, and he leaned in impossibly close. Resting his forehead against hers, he repeated the last line, slowly and softly. "But I can't help falling in love with you."

Before either of them knew what was happening, their lips met in a gentle kiss. It lasted only a few seconds. Marshall pulled away first, bracing himself for a violent outburst from Fionna, but it didn't come. She stood frozen, her brain unable to comprehend the emotions flooding through her. Taking advantage of this, the vampire leaned in for another kiss, this one starting soft then turning fervent and fiery. Fionna's hood came loose and fell to the floor, her golden hair pouring over her shoulders.

When the second kiss ended, both of them were breathless. Fionna was the first to react, thankfully by giggling rather than punching.

"Got a little carried away, huh?" She smiled.

Now it was his turn to blush. This made Fionna snicker harder, and she placed a small kiss on his cheek.

"I love you, bad little boy." She could hardly believe the words came out of her mouth, but they felt right.

Surprised, he replied, "I love you too."

Suddenly self-conscious, Fionna withdrew quickly and grabbed her bunny ears off the floor. Marshall resumed playing his guitar, smiling as he watched her tuck her long hair into the hood.

"You know, you look better without the hat." He winked and flew off into the distance, leaving Fionna confused and a bit embarrassed, but glowing with joy.
