A/N: Hey guys. This is just a little short story about Jemily. Hope you enjoy. This was inspired by Greyson Chance's song, Waiting Outside the Lines, which I do not own. I do not own Power Rangers Samurai or anything related to them. I only own my ideas and stories.
Waiting
I've spent days, if not days months. I've watched him from afar hoping that one day he'll realize how he feels about me. I continue to watch him train, losing my train of thought as our eyes lock. I turn away from him blushing and I shake my head at myself. I continue to picture the day he finally sees that I'm supposed to be with him. I try not to pay so much attention to him but I can't help it. I feel drawn to him, like someone is pulling us together. I walk inside and wait for the rest of the team to come inside from training. I sit on the couch and try to watch him as he comes in, messing with his two best friends. I smile and turn away, but my focus is quickly turned to him. My best friend, Mia, sits next to me and notices me staring at him.
"What are you waiting for, Emily?" Mia asks me.
"I don't know. For him to realize that he likes me, three wishes, or a miracle." I respond still looking at him.
"Well then, you might be here for a while," She says turning to see what the guys are doing.
"You never know Mia." I say hopefully.
"You need to stop waiting for him to make the first move. If you really liked him then you wouldn't be here."
"You know what Mia," I say, "you're right."
"Would you mind telling the guys that?" Mia says laughing.
I laugh at Mia and take a deep breath. I get up from the couch and walk outside. I stand there for a few minutes watching him and take another deep breath.
"Hey Jayden," I say, my voice slightly wavering.
"Yeah?" He says turning around.
"I-I, umm, I-," I say.
It turns out that I didn't need to say anything before Jayden leaned in and kissed me. He dropped his practice sword and he buried his hands in my hair. I gladly wrapped my arms around his waist, pulling him closer to me. After a few minutes, we pulled apart smiling at each other.
"So what was it that you were going to say to me?" Jayden asks, intertwining our fingers together.
"I was tired of waiting, wondering if you liked me or not. So I came here to tell you how I felt." I say feeling my cheeks getting redder.
Jayden must have seen this because he kissed both of my cheeks.
"I'm glad you got tired of waiting," Jayden said before leaning in and kissing me again.
I'm glad I got tired of waiting too, I thought to myself.
Hope you enjoyed! Please r&r!
