"Is it true Zula?"
Spirits help me
"Ty…"
"Is it?"
Azula didn't understand why, Ty Lee, would choose now to confront her on rumors. They had just gotten back from a mission, and now they lay here tangled and naked on her crimson bed. She has always loved Ty Lee, even if she didn't say it a lot. Let alone show it. In these peril times of the fire nation succeeding, she didn't have time to let her guard down, not even for her love.
Yes, there were other women she engaged with. Recently someone from Hira'a. A mere distraction is all, but hearing her lover cry now... Azula sat up from the bed facing Ty Lee whose back was turned to her still laying down.
"Ty Lee…look at me."
"N—no!"
Ty Lee wasn't the first girl she made cry, she had seen so many crying faces that they began to look the same. It was simple, if she couldn't fight than she wanted pleasure. She didn't care what expense she had to obtain it, as long as it was accomplished. But it didn't excuse how Ty Lee was getting hurt in the process.
Ty Lee finally sat up to face Azula while she tried to catch her breath. The room was dark with little lighting, but Azula can still see Ty Lee's face beaming red with tears streaming down.
"You know Azula, hearing the whispers in this palace is one thing b—but knowing they're true? You know how I feel about you, I don't understand. You bring me on these missions treat me like an imbecile and turn around make love to me?"
"Ty, please listen."
"No! You listen, I'm done with these arrangements."
With that Ty Lee wrestled out of bed, she didn't know where her garments were nor did she care, but she had to get out of the room.
"Where are you going? It's the middle of the night."
"Out, away from you Azula!"
Frustrated, Azula threw the covers racing Ty Lee to the door.
"Stop Ty Lee, that's an order!"
Shocked
Ty Lee couldn't believe her ears, never has Azula told her when she could come or go. She started to feel her blood boil as she looked Azula in her face, who for the first time appeared to be nervous.
"Is that what you're doing now Azula?"
Azula turned her head so she wouldn't have to face Ty Lee, she was already caught red-handed she didn't need to see her cry too.
Thud
Azula finally sunk to the ground after Ty Lee left, she has not cried this hard since her mother abandoned her. Why were the spirits punishing her? She already had a broken family with a broken nation, she couldn't handle that with a broken heart. Azula knew she wasn't the easiest person to be around but Ty Lee saw something else in her, but even the nicest people have a breaking point.
