Ending to "The Landlady"
After she said, "Only you", she looked at Billy and moved closer and closer. His heart thumped louder than Big Ben when the clock strikes midnight. He said, "Goodnight, I am going to bed." Billy quickly ran out. He needed to get out. She followed him up the stairs and looked at him with her big, blue eyes and said, "Goodnight my dear." When Billy heard the old landlady's footsteps walk up to her room, he started to pack.
He cracked the window open and threw his bad out of the window. He watched the heavy bag hit the cold, icy ground. Down below the window his large suitcase hit the landlady. He jumped out and barely missed her. The bump on her head swelled like a red balloon. She slowly looked at Billy with her eyes glowing like a nightlight. She said, "Where do you think you're going?" She had the tea in her hand. She threw it at Billy and he started turning stuffed slower and slower. He breathed his last few breaths and forever he was with the landlady.
