Poll for Two potential fanfics

Info inside, but basically i'm doing a poll to see which Harry Potter fanfic i write first, one of which is a SYOC. Both stories will feature insight into the magical learning at hogwarts, including the curriculum and how fast paced the classes are and what spells are learned when.

Alright guys, this is Remvis, not doing Percy Jackson fanfictions because i've got inspiration for Harry Potter fanfiction finally.

For those of you that are not people that have ready all of my stories and are her solely for the fanfiction, well there isn't one yet. I've got a poll listed where you can vote for one of two options for the fanfic which i will talk about below a little in depth. And welcome, sorry for not actually having any actual story, but bear with me for a moment.

The premise of my two stories is that they will fall in the same universe, one taking the hogwarts mystery route and following the events of the appgame while also changing some things, and the second starting in 2008 following a couple of friends going to hogwarts, trying to unlock the secrets of magic and learn how it works and how to make new spells as they progress through the years.

Those of you who have not played the app game: It follows the brother of Jacob, who got expelled for breaking hogwarts school rules and searching into things called the "cursed vaults", which to my current knowledge are vaults which are protected by powerful curses. These vaults are theorized to hold treasure, gold, magic untold, dark magic, and incredibly dangerous and complex magics that probably shouldn't be unleashed. Jacob went missing, and his sibling is now searching into these cursed vaults to find any clues as to find their brother. If this is the first story chosen by the poll, i will open send your own characters, and five of the characters will be chosen as characters for the fic, aside from the characters established in the game.

In the first fic, there will be pretty heavy emphasis on friendship, romance, adventure, magic learning and whatnot.

In the second option, we delve into magical theory and learning with a group of six as they try and discover the secrets of magic. there will be drama, somewhat scientific explanations for magic (though there will not be a lot of it, such as in the fanfiction: Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality), and a somewhat detailed showcase of magical learning. This showcase will detail the classes and their learning systems, such as the types of potions that students learn and what ingredients do, rather than the students just making a potion. It will detail what charms will be learned, defense spells that was brushed over till book two, different magical plants, more transfiguration explanations, and an interesting take on quidditch. If this is the first fic chosen by the poll, i will set up another poll to determine two (2) people whom did NOT end up dying per canon.

In the second fic, there will be heavy emphasis on friendship, learning, magical theory, magic learning and drama.

In both options, I will make a couple of changes. in both, the canon is that Gordon Ramsay is a wizard, and a Potions genius. He will replace Slughorn as Potions teacher in year 2000. This might be relevant for a potions throwdown in the first option against Snape, and he will be Potions teacher for the second option throughout the years of 2008 to 2015.

In my canon, Sirius Black caught Pettigrew and used Veritaserum in court to get the former thrown in jail. thus, Harry will be/have been brought up by Sirius (Unless you pick to have Lily and/or James not to have died, by picking the second option first, in which case if both have lived, Neville will be the Boy Who Lived, and it'll cause all sorts of chaos for me that i'll take on). In this universe, Harry becomes Defense against the Dark Arts teacher after the war and holds that post. Neville will still become herbology teacher after the war, even if he becomes BWL, for reasons.

Anyways, that's going to be all of the information for now. I'm hoping that this will be a great success, with each work lasting through all 7 years at hogwarts and potentially past graduation. Anyways, please vote on my poll! Thanks.

Update: I have decided to do both at the same times, which will exponentially increase how long it takes to complete either, knowing my track record.
