I ran out of the house to go hunting. They were suffocating me with all there lovey dovey-ness. Don't get me wrong im happy for them they are truly happy with their mates. I mean Bella and jaspers love for each other could rival that of Esme and Carlisle. Edward and Rosalie could barely even keep their hands off each other and yeah I loved that they were happy but I can't help but be jealous I want that so bad. I want someone to love me. As if on cue I saw this girl walk out of the trees ahead of me. I stopped and almost fell to my knees at her beauty, she was obviously a vampire her eyes were a bright red obviously she was a newborn they were too bright for her to just be a human drinker. As I walked towards her she turned around and crouched in a fighting stance. I raised my hands as to say I'm innocent.
Her eyes glazed over and she looked off into space. The next thing I knew she was in my arms.
"I love you!" She yelled giggling happily. I was dazzled, as Bella used to put it, by her voice, her laugh, the way she smelled, everything about her. It took me a second to realize what she said. As I did I felt a huge goofy grim get plastered on my face, my arms tightening around her thin waist.
"I love you too." I whispered, and I meant it, I knew I loved her the second I saw her. She slipped out of my arms and my arms instantly felt empty.
"I'm Alice." She said lifting her hand to shake mine. I just laughed and pulled her into my arms pressing a loving kiss to her lips. She responded just as enthusiastically.
"I'm Emmett." I said smiling down at her as I pulled away. She giggled before burying her head in my chest. I sat down leaning against a tree with her in my lap.
"Emmett?" She asked her voice muffled by my shirt.
"Yes?" I asked a smile evident in my voice.
"What am i?" She asked quietly.
"No one has told you?"
"No. I woke up like this this morning no one was with me." She whispered sadly. I felt my venom start to pour into my mouth as my rage grew with each word. How could someone just leave this amazing, beautiful girl after they bit her?
"Emmett?" She asked as worriedly. I instantly relaxed at the sound of her voice.
I spent the next hour or two tell her everything she needed to know. I found out that she can see the future and that she could see us being together. I smiled happily as explained to her that it was because we were mates. The happiness and love in her eyes would have brought me to my knees if I had been standing. I pulled her closer and kissed her as the sun began to set.
This was what it felt like to be in love. Now I know why my family was so happy all the time if I had known what this felt like I would never have been upset.
"I love you, Alice." I whispered.
"I love you too, Emmett."
