A/N: Written for the Mega Prompts Challenge on the PFC, writing prompts #059 – write a shape poem. So here's the shape: a circle which could be a Pokeball without the dot in the middle. :D FFN doesn't allow for much in the way of shape poems, but anything simple, solid and with symmetry or a left alignment could potentially work. So…a circle. :D Just imagine the curves for the first and last lines I can't do, and enjoy. :)

Inside a Pokeball
.
the Pokemon
were not just little beasts
that could fit into collapsible
balls in the palm of a human hand
but friends, dear friends, that could
live with them, protect them, and love
with the same sort of hearts that they,
humans, possessed – because they
were just living creatures, just
like humans, with free
will, and heart
