Ending to "The Landlady"

"Well, if it's not to much to ask, I'd like to meet them", Billy said. "Oh that wouldn't be okay, they are very tired." The landlady said with a wide grin. Billy looked at his tea, it was bubbling. He decided to put it back and go upstairs. There were three rooms. The first door said Gregory T., the second one said Christopher M. He opened both doors and saw the strangest thing, nothing! The rooms were empty. That left Billy with one conclusion, they were on the landlady's floor.

In the middle of the night, Billy woke up and headed for the second floor. Quickly, Billy tiptoed past the landlady's room. He approached a door that read "LOST and FOUND." Billy dared himself to open the door. Three chairs were in the middle of the room. There were two boys in them. The third one…had his name on it!

Billy froze with fear. He thought he heard footsteps. When he got the courage he ran to his room. Billy took all of his clothes and stuffed them into his bag and left. He heard running behind him. Then he heard "Wait Mr. Weaver! Wait! It's too early for you to check out!" The voice got quieter and quieter. Finally, there was silence. Billy knew that he had defeated the landlady. Or did he?
