Ending to "The Landlady"
So Billy decided to forget about those other two men and just drink their tea. When Billy was done he went back up to his room and began to sleep. Billy woke up to a bad creek of the rusty door opening. It was the landlady. Billy looked around it appeared he was tied up to his bed. He looked up with a confused expression on his face and saw the landlady smiling, "Don't worry honey, it will all over soon." She said in a high- pitched voice. "I will be right back with some stuffing." she said walking out the door with a creepy giggle. As she walked out the door Billy remembered the pocketknife he had left in his pants pocket. He struggled to loosen the rope so he could reach the knife. As he grabbed the pocketknife he heard footsteps walking up the stairs. He rushed to cut the first rope off of his arms. "Slit" The first rope was off. He went right to the next one. He was about half through, but then he dropped the knife. Billy could hear the footsteps getting closer and closer. Billy had no other choice but to start biting the rope. "Slit" his other arm was free. He got up and rushed to the door. Before he could get to the door it slammed him to the floor. The landlady walked in. "What are you doing my dear, why would you want to run from me?" "Either way you aren't going anywhere!" the landlady said in an angry voice. Billy knew he was stronger than the landlady so he got up and struggled to get her away from the door. As he threw her away Billy charged down the large flight of stairs. He was so tired it seemed like the stairs were endless. But he found the front door. He bolted out and ran. He turned around for a second and saw the landlady standing there. "Oh my dear boy, you just don't get it. No matter how far you run or where you hide, you will always be mineā¦.FOREVER!"
