"If anyone had to say anything about what had happened, I'd be damned if they said that I went down without a fight…"
As the sphere of flames dug it's way towards Ijin, he knew all too well that as he stood on the edge of the cliff. The intense amount of heat which had been generated from it almost made him feel as though the very clothe which covered his entire body was slowly being burned away with each and every passing moment.
"I swear… If I had known that things were going to end up like this. I would have stayed asleep." Ijin found himself speaking out loud as the flames began to burn through the air advancing towards him. His eyes slightly closed as though coming to terms with what he had been thrown onto him.
As he slowly began to closed his eyes, Ijin found himself unable to even think of anything aside from the idea that in just a matter of seconds his body would be burned alive. He had continued to think over at the idea that his insides would boil over and be reduced to ash which wouldn't be able to even make up the weight of his own big toe. With a slight smirk covering his eyes, he could feel the heat inching closer and closer towards him. Knowing that the end had made its way towards him.
If there had been one last thing that a person would have come to terms with in the last few moments of their life, if there was one thing that a person could have said to give them a settled ending. Ijin slowly opened his mouth as his eyes remained closed to the world around him, unable to even open his mouth wide. "Well, to say the least now. I can somewhat understand what they meant now…" He found himself speaking as everything around him went black.
