Reverse the Night

My entire life is a cliche. Things weren't perfect so I left my university and travelled back to Destiny Island, where I met a man with hair as hot as the fire in his soul and eyes set firmly on me. My life is just a typical, boring cliche. I think. AU

To old readers and new ones,

This story is currently being rewritten.

I got stuck, I was forcing out chapters out of this need to try and make up for how poor this was and out of my obligation as an author, and it just wasn't working. You, the readers and reviewers were always great but I can't get any joy or pleasure out of this story anymore. And frankly if you've gotten to the point where writing a story becomes truly depressing then something is clearly wrong, so I'm fixing it.

Rewriting Reverse The Night is the best thing I can do for this story. I'm sorry to all those who may have actually liked it in its original form but it was nearing a this-story-is-the-bane-of-my-life sort of situation.

But I'm not going to turn it into a story about faeries or something – the actual plot? Staying the same, you don't have to worry about that. Just imagine the Reverse the Night which you've read a hundred times better- it'll be awesome. And with lemon cakes. And written by somebody who is genuinely happy with it.

(In the future a poll may be put up asking what you'd liked to go and what to stay as it is, so please keep an eye out.)

I'd really love it if you stuck around to at least read the first chapter in all it's new and improved glory but I'm not going to beg any of you old readers, because yeah, this must seem really stupid. So no hard feelings okay? Just know that it was a real honour to get such a positive reaction, from all of you.

Deleting the chapters off this site made me so depressed. :( No matter how much I don't like Reverse the Night, it really is still my baby.
