The Love of A Warrior
Xena hesitated, she finally had the courage to tell her companion the truth of her feelings, and now she had to find the perfect way to let the bard know, but how?
Then a thought came to the warrior's head, pounding into her brain it was like her conscience had melted and was constantly streaming insane ideas to her mind, she'd find a cure for that later.
This method the dark haired warrior wanted to give it her best effort, Gabrielle was all she thought about and all she cared about, no questions asked.
"Xena, where are you, we're going to be late for the warrior's conference." Gabrielle said
Xena shook, she had given up real fighting to sit around a table and discuss her conflicts with other "warriors", they're nothing but undignified therapists, she thought.
"Hold on Gabrielle, there's something I have to talk to you about," the warrior breathed uneasily, Gabrielle raised an eyebrow, Xena was never this nervous, something was troubling her, "Okay, I'm all ears, what's on your mind?"
Suddenly to make herself feel at ease with the situation, Xena broke into song, her favorite heavy metal anthem by her favorite band, Pantera.

Gabrielle looked at Xena who was on the verge of screaming her head off, worried, but the blond companion kept her cool, "Go on." she urged

Xena finished the last chorus of the song then sat Gabrielle down, "So, what do you think, my secret is finally out in the open, I'm in love with you." Xena hyperventilated, this was too much.
Gabrielle knew this was coming, now that it had, she was shocked at the lengths that Xena had went to let her know how she felt, "I love you too." Gabrielle whispered as she pulled Xena to share a mind blowing, passionate, tender kiss.
"To have the love of a warrior is a powerful thing, it motivates me and gives me a degree of protection, it makes me feel invincible!" Gabrielle tells the world of how it feels to have someone who cared for her and loves her.
Author's Note: Here it is, another songfic from FEARLESS MASTER, I hope that more readers will know this song compared to the other songfics I've done, but in the song, Xena is expressing how hard it was to keep her feelings inside and how much she was hurting inside because of her choice to hold her feelings inside, I hope you enjoyed this songfic!
