"Loose Ends"
Lt. Simon Riley and Sgt. Gary Sanderson
Vladimir Macorov's Estate
After General Shepard's betrayal of the Task Force 141, and the creation of the Shadow Company, Lt. Simon Riley and Sgt. Gary Sanderson are trapped and torched at Vladimir's raided Estate.
"PRICE, SOAP, ME AND GHOST ARE DOWN, DO NOT TRUST SHEPARD! YOU ARE WALKING INTO A TRAP AT THE BONEYARD! I REPEAT, DO NOT TRUST SHEPARD!" (If you listen closely at the end, where the liquor is being poured, you will hear roach faintly say that, it does not show up in the subtitles, hence, I might have gotten it wrong but you try to do this.)Roach lay there in pain, yelling into his mike for the last time as Shadow Corp. poured Gasoline on him and Ghost. Shepard stood in-front of them, smoking. He flicked his cigarette onto Ghost, and immediately, the gas caught fire. Shepard walked off, victoriously.
"Damn, Shepard is an ass." Someone said, Roach then started to feel the burn as the flames were put out. He blacked out from the pain.
-20 minutes later, Inside the estate, Sgt. Gary "Roach" Sanderson's POV-
"Damn dude, now you have a reason for your name to be Roach." The voice sounded again, it was more familiar now.
"Gahhhhhahhh." I groaned. I tried to move but the pain was just too, much.
"Hey, hey, hey. Dude, don't move, your burns haven't healed yet."
"Go, go-" I tried to speak but I couldn't concentrate.
"Ghost?" There was another voice, one I hear a lot more often. "I've been awake for about 10 mikes. You really got the short end of the stick."
