My 1st ever poetry of fanfiction! Sorry for the stupid ending. I couldn't think of anything else.
Kagome-
I was waiting by the fireside
I was waiting staring into the light
You never turned up
I waited in vain
I saw your face 'stead of the fire flame
When I decided you weren't coming
I retired to bed.
In the morning my first thoughts were of you
I wondered what had happened
Was this a trick or were you angry
I wish I knew what happened to you.
The bell rang,
I rushed to open it thinking 'twas you.
Imagine my horror when your brother came in and said,
You were gone for ever.
Why did you drive your car?
When you knew it wasn't safe?
Why did you risk your life so?
Now I'm alone
And I feel so tired
But what can I say?
My life must go on.
Someday I'll meet you in Paradise.
Till then, my life must go on.
Inuyasha-
I gazed into the crystal so clear
I saw myself drinking beer
And becoming drunk.
Thus I died in a car crash.
But that isn't true
It wasn't me
That was Naraku
In disguise as me
I jumped up.
I have to tell you
Death didn't really get me.
Kagome-
I heard the bell ring
I rang to open it
Imagine my surprise
When I saw your face.
Inuyasha! You're alive!
How can that be?
Sesshoumaroo came and told me
You were dead!
Inuyasha-
It wasn't me
'Twas Naraku.
But now, dead he is.
Bother us no more will he.
Kagome-
Inuyasha! I wanted to tell you this!
I love you!
Inuyasha -
I love you too, Kagome.
