Above All

Jesus gave up everything for us, he even took—Songfic based on one of my favorite songs that I listened to, during the retreat I went on during Memorial Day Break.

Jesus gave up his life for us, but we don't really seem to be all that thankful for His sacrifice of love. He really didn't have to be crucified, but He chose to do it anyway. He always existed before and during the creation of the world.

"Above all powers, above all kings. Above all nature and all created things. Above all wisdom and all the ways of man. You were here before the world began. Above all wonders the world has ever known. Above all wealth and treasures of the earth. There's no way to measure what you're worth."

Jesus gave His life for us and he was did it out of love for us.

"Crucified, laid behind the stone. You lived to die, rejected and alone. Like a Rose trampled on the ground. You took the fall and thought of me Above All."

We need to be grateful for his sacrifice and not act like, "Hey, Jesus gave up His life because he had to." No, he didn't. He could have chosen to let us suffer what we deserve.

"Above all powers, above all kings. Above all nature and all created things. Above all wisdom and all the ways of man. You were here before the world began. Above all wonders the world has ever known. Above all wealth and treasures of the earth. There's no way to measure what you're worth."

Jesus gave up everything He had for us, His followers, and He made the ultimate sacrifice of love, giving up His own life for his friends.

"Crucified, laid behind the stone. You lived to die, rejected and alone. Like a Rose trampled on the ground. You took the fall and thought of me Above All. Crucified, laid behind the stone. You lived to die, rejected and alone. Like a Rose trampled on the ground. You took the fall and thought of me Above All. Like a Rose trampled on the ground. You took the fall and thought of me Above All."

The End
