Notes: Wow.something other than Fushigi Yugi. A first. Hehe. I love Gundam Wing and I use ta have a lot of GW fanfics.but well.my hardrive crashed and I lost them all.T.T it was so sad. But it's ok.I can think of newer, better fanfics!!! Well on with this new one!
A promise is a promise forever
"Heero!! Why are you going on this mission?! You could die!"
Heero brushed passed Duo and went towards his room.
"Hn."
Duo sighed sadly and followed Heero. He loved Heero with all of his heart and soul. He didn't know what he would do if he ever lost him.
"Heero, you know I love you. I don't want to lose you. Please don't go! It'll be too dangerous!"
Heero kept ignoring Duo and went over to his laptop to start typing. Duo leaned against the doorframe and watched Heero type. Heero never told him how he felt..unless he was threatening to kill him although...that doesn't really count.
"Heero.at least before you go.tell me how you feel. I want to know the truth. Am I just someone to please you in bed? Or do you actually love me?"
Heero stopped typing and just sat there, staring blankly at the computer. No one had ever asked him a question like that. He really didn't know how to answer. He had forgotten all emotions when he became a Gundam pilot. He didn't understand what he was feeling now. Was it love? Did he love Duo? He kept quiet and sat there. Duo hung his head down.
"I guess that answers my question. Go on the mission. I don't care if you come back alive or not."
Duo walked out of the room and went to his room. Heero sat there still staring blankly at the computer. Why was he feeling like this? He should be getting ready for this mission! He could care less what Maxwell was saying and feeling. Right? He shrugged it all off and started to pack. It was all foolish thinking. He finished packing and walked out of the room. He glanced at his watch, it was late. He took too much time thinking instead of getting ready. Damn Maxwell. He walked to the front door and saw Duo leaning against the doorframe. Duo spoke first.
"Listen Heero, I know you don't act on your emotions. Heck you don't even know what emotions are. But I want you to know that I do love you and I do hope you come back alive. So if you can't tell me your true feelings at least make this one promise with me. Please come back to me."
Heero looked at Duo with a shocked like expression. But he nodded.
"Mission accepted."
He went through the door leaving a shocked Duo. When he was gone Duo got over his shock and smiled. He went to the couch and decided to wait for his lover. He waited and waited until he fell asleep. It was close to dawn when Heero had completed his mission and headed back to the hideout. He had gotten badly wounded but knew he had to get back. He walked in and saw Duo on the couch sleeping peacefully. He smiled slightly and collapsed right by the couch. Duo woke up when he heard the thump on the floor. He looked down and saw the wounded Heero.
"Oh my gosh! Heero!"
He smiled slightly.
"You came back.even though you could of died.."
Heero mumbled something but Duo caught it.
"A promise is a promise, forever..ashiteru.."
Duo smiled. Heero had finally admitted his love and true feelings.
