Steven walked downstairs from his bedroom, MC Bear Bear toy in hand. He arrived in his living room, where Pearl (whom he called Birdmum) was hiding behind a few chairs turned on their sides. She was wearing a spaghetti strainer as a helmet and was tightly gripping a plastic McDonalds fork as if it was a gun. Loud banging was heard at the temple door, but Steven ignored it. Pearl saw Steven and motioned for him to join her.

"Birdmum, I appreciate the effort, but that isn't how you play World War 2," he pointed out.

"Shh…" She gasped. It was too late. The temple door shattered into pieces. Garnet - Otherwise known as Squaremom - stomped in, an angry look on her face. "You two are coming with ME!" She shouted, and grew a pair of black, scaly wings. Her eyes glowed red through her visor and her arms looked like two malformed Jimmy Dean sausages. It was quite the sight.

Steven blinked in surprise. "Shook."

Pearl nodded in agreement before looking back at her mutated waifu in fear. What would she do?

Suddenly, Garnet's right eye twitched and she spasmed on the floor, chanting incoherent words in an unusually deep voice. Pearl just sat there, scared and confused as to what was occurring right in front of her. Steven walked up to his Squaremom, who was twisting herself into different body positions. He put a hand on his hip and sipped a random juice box as he stared at her, unimpressed. "Are you done, yet?"

Pearl tossed an iPhone 7 at the back of Steven's head, but he caught it anyway. "Call the police!" she shouted, above Garnet's demonic chanting. "This isn't a safe place for you anymore! You can't live here with us!"

It was probably true. In fact, last year, Steven had asked for a new ProtoShot Deluxe42 camera for his birthday. He liked cameras because he thought they allowed him to see things in a "whole new vision." He instantly regretted saying that, however, because on the day of his celebration Garnet had (somehow) bought him a $250 voucher for eye replacement surgery. Although Steven politely declined, Garnet wouldn't take no for an answer, and made him get it anyway.

But this was a whole new thing.

Steven was snapped out of his thoughts by a growl behind him. Garnet finally found the strength to stand up again, and grabbed Pearl by the neck, who choked out a pained scream. Garnet's arm began to shake wildly, and the Birdmum flew all around the room, breaking a nearby vase. Steven immediately felt awkward.

He scratched the back of his neck nervously. "Yeah, I'll leave you two to do your thing." With that, he opened the front door and left, dialing the police as he walked off.
