Gabriel sat down on the stool, the hat was lowers onto his head to make it's decision. Gabriel's eyes search through the crowd of students towards the table decorated with green and silver banners, it didn't take long for his gaze to be met by his brother's.

The hat considered putting him in Hufflepuff due to how loyal he was to his brother and Gabriel faught against it, telling it that he wanted and needed to be with his older brother. After a few dangerously long minutes the hat yelled, "Slytherin," and was lifted off his head and he felt as though the world had been lifted off his shoulders.

Gabriel got off the stool as the next name was called, walking to the head of the table where his brother sat. His face fell when he saw someone else sitting across from his brother but Lucifer seemed to see this and waved a hand to the other student in a silent comand. When the other student got up and left Gabriel took the seat.

"It's nice too see you in the right colors Gabriel," Lucifer said, awfully cold compared to what Gabriel was used to from his brother but they were in public after all.

"Was there ever any doubt where I would go?" Gabriel's relaxed nature leaked into the question making it seem more fond then it should have in their current company.

"No I suppose not, you always did follow where I lead little duckling," Lucifer chuckled, the using of the nickname he hadn't heard in years assured Gabriel everything would be fine.
